50th Year In Business Anniversary Celebration

We've been helping make family memories in Michigan's Great Southwest since 1974 and invite you to join our 50th Anniversary celebration!  We will kick off the weekend on Friday, August 2, with a morning gathering of local dignitaries, Chamber of Commerce business members and a special visit by Ginter & Ursula Bansen, the first owners of our campground.  The fun will continue on Saturday, August 3, where activities will include a "Lucky Duck Derby" to benefit Care Camps, a special performance (to be announced), and a evening cook-out for our guests where dinner is on us with free hot dogs, chips, all the fixins and an anniversary cake to share.  We will close out the weekend celebration on Sunday, August 4, with a special Sunday worship service where Mark & Karla Lemoine, our current owners, will share a few personal reflections on their entrepreneurial journey. Come celebrate this milestone with us!

Halloween Harvest Weekend #1 (Scarecrow Craft)

Starts: 09/27/2024 - Ends: 09/28/2024

Fall camping brings more memories as we enjoy cooler temperatures and our three Harvest Halloween weekends. During Week #1, guests are encouraged to decorate their camp sites, owners will choose a winner for the best site. Fun for all ages, a craft time will involve building your own scarecrow that you can enjoy for the weekend and even take home with you to enjoy throughout the fall. (Please note: In order to make this a FREE activity, guest are asked to bring their own clothes and a pillow case for the scarecrow, Straw and frame materials will be provided at no cost.)  Later in the day, everyone is encouraged to wear fun costumes to participate in "trailer-treating" at night.

Farmer's Market (Saturdays) - St. Joseph

The freshness of this event once again returns to delight your senses. Every Saturday (9am-2pm), there is a farmer's market at Lake Bluff Park, St. Joseph, located between Broad and Pleasant Streets. Enjoy locally grown jams, honey, hearth-bread baked breads and fine pastries, perennials, cut flowers, organic vegetables and so much more!

Father's Day Weekend

America's birthday and camping go hand-in-hand. A fun-packed weekend that includes a charity pancake breakfast to benefit Care Camps and our ever-popular tie-tye tee shirt activity.

Wild Game Dinner

Come stay with us and enjoy this local event. Outdoor enthusiasts are invited to enjoy a buffet dinner of wild game meats, outdoor prize giveaways, plus, you'll also hear an inspirational talk from Jimmy Sites, host of the television series Spiritual Outdoor Adventures, who will give an inspirational message.  Men, women and children (10+) are welcome.  This event will be held two identical nights: Thursday, April 25 or Friday, April 26, 2024. Cabin Fever Spring Camping

Celebrate the arrival of spring by staying with us in one of our cabins, deluxe cabins, or rustic-chic glamping tents. Create your own event with your family and friends, paying the lowest rates of the season! These "hotel rooms in an outdoor package" are a perfect way to enjoy a little bit of the outdoors without giving up creature comforts.  Plus, you'll beat the summer crowds as you relax and explore Michigan's Great southwest.

Antiques on the Bluff (Sundays) - St. Joseph

Antiques on the Bluff offers something old that is new to you! This popular community event is held along tree lined Lake Bluff Park, overlooking Lake Michigan. This antique show is a premier event for St. Joseph and antiquers around Southwest Michigan!Located in Lake Bluff Park the show runs from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. the first Sunday of each month May-October.Rain or shine event.

Fall camping brings more memories as we enjoy cooler temperatures, and our popular three Halloween Harvest Weekends.  During Week #2, guests are encouraged to decorate their camp sites, owners will choose a winner for the best site. Fun for all ages will be had with a pumpkin painting craft time for the whole family. Let the fun continue as you take them home with you to enjoy throughout the fall. (Please note: All supplies are provided and a nominal fee will be charged for this craft.)  Later in the day, everyone is encouraged to wear fun costumes to participate in a campground parade with "trailer-treating" at night.

National Blueberry Festival - South Haven

The National Blueberry Festival is one of the tastiest you'll find! Organizers hold this annual event on the second weekend of August each year, and is one of the country's oldest continuously-running fruit festivals! We're proud of South Haven's tremendous blueberry crop, and the important industry it represents in our area. Van Buren County is the Nation's most prolific producer of highbush blueberries, and Michigan as a whole produces upward of 100 million pounds each year. Growers, packers, u-picks, specialty equipment, agri-tourism, cottage industry and more convene right here in Southwest Michigan, and it's all thanks to the delicious and healthy king of fruits- the almighty blueberry!

Fall Festival - St. Joseph

Christmas in July

Christmas comes to town during the month of July in what is always a joyous weekend. Time with families will be memorable as campers are encouraged to decorate their sites with lights and decorations. A best decorated site contest winner will be selected for a special prize, craft time, activities and even a visit from our own Santa Clause are also expected.

Mike Yore Memorial Car Show - St. Joseph

Halloween Harvest Weekend #3 (Annual Chili Cook-Off)

Fall camping brings more memories as we enjoy cooler temperatures. Guests are encouraged to prepare their famous chili recipes for this annual charity event to benefit Care Camps. Participants and hungry campers are invited to enjoy our sixth annual Chili Cook-off competition, where we will announce our grand total of monies raised for the season. Guests are also encouraged to decorate their camp sites, and wear fun costumes to participate in "trailer-treating" at night.

Mother's Day

As we kick off what many consider the first weekend of summer, let's honor those who paid the ultimate sacrifice so that we could enjoy the blessings of freedom. The weekend includes our holiday weekend charity pancake breakfast to benefit Care Camps, family-friendly activities.

Sunday Service

Join  us Sunday mornings during the summer at the start of the week for a informal time of reflection and encouragement.  This non-denominational worship service includes a time of singing and a short message that we hope uplifts your spirit. Service will be held at the Club House starting at 9:30am.

Labor Day Weekend

Starts: 08/30/2024 - Ends: 09/02/2024

Celebrate all your hard work and the final weekend before the fall schedule kicks back into session full-swing. Our holiday pancake breakfast starts off your Sunday. During the weekend, kids will enjoy making a craft, barrel train rides. The weekend will end with our annual glow stick parade around the campground and a fun dance party.

Wacky Water Weekend

One of our most popular summertime activities is on tap again for this fun-packed weekend. A visit from the local Fire Department cools off young and old alike with a fire hose spray. Check out their trucks and maybe even test the siren.

Slow Down with Fall Camping

As summer begins its slow fade and the pace of life feels as if it's picking up... slow down with some fall camping.  Wake up to the morning sun warming the air, drying the dew that kissed the grass during the evening hours. Smell the scent of breakfast wafting in the air, greeting the promise of a new day. Visit one of the numerous orchards or award-winning vineyards in our area, calming your spirit and delighting your senses.  Or, go for a hike in the woods or walk along the shores of the fresh water ocean we call Lake Michigan, stretching this moment as if it could last forever.  Then relax at the campground, enjoying the cooler temperatures as you sit by the warmth of your campfire, listen to the rustling breeze rushing through the mature trees that have begun to dress themselves in radiant colors.

Work can wait, as you enjoy one more camping night with your family and friends.

Berrien County Youth Fair

The Berrien County Youth Fair is an annual event. Some of the exhibits include baked goods, photography, crafts, woodworking, horticulture and art. Livestock also compete for ribbons and are auctioned at the end of the week. There's even a pavilion dedicated to the miracle of life where visitors can observe pregnant and newborn animals all week. Carnival rides, fair food and entertainment add the traditional part of this family-fun experience!

Glad-Peach Festival - Coloma

This is an annual celebration of the gladiolus flowers and peaches, which are both grown locally. The festival provides three days of family fun for all ages. Events include live music on two stages, a classic car show parade. and a beautiful aerial fireworks display.

KOA Rewards Appreciation Weekend

KOA Rewards members get a FREE night!  Allow us to show our appreciation for the loyalty our Reward members have shown all year. Stay with us on Friday, September 6, and get Saturday night free! Krasl Art Fair - St. Joseph

Care Camps Big Weekend

Camp for a cause and help raise money for KOA's official charity, Care Camps.  Celebrating their 40th year of bringing the joy, hope and healing power of the outdoors to children with cancer, Care Camps provides a camping experience at more than 132 specialized oncology camps across North America. When guests stay with us on May 10-11, 2024, the Coloma/St/ Joseph KOA Holiday will donate 50% of the second night to support Care Camps.  Additional donations will also be gladly accepted and sent to help these special children and their families. 2024 KitchenAid Senior PGA Championship - Benton Harbor

The Golf Course at Harbor Shores, in Benton Harbor, Michigan, brings together the world of golfing enthusiasts when they once again host the Senior Professional Golf Championship. With its challenging holes and stunning views of Lake Michigan, golf fans will be able to enjoy seeing some of the greatest names in golf showcase their skills on this Jack Nicklaus-design course. Less than 8 miles from our campground, golf fans will find unparalleled convenience traveling to and from this professional sporting event while staying in the comfort of their own RV or in one of our 20 lodging options. You'll want to book early as this it has been announced that this year will be the final time Harbor Shores will host this event, which also runs into the Memorial Day weekend.

Blossom Time Parade - Michigan's Great Southwest

Southwestern Michigan is a treat for your senses in the spring. All across our countryside verdant orchards and vineyards explode in pastel blossoms and sweet scents. Our markets reopen, with trays and baskets of ready-to-plant flowers in a brilliant array of colors. It's a great time to take a wine tour, or pick up jars of tantalizing jams and jellies, bunches of just-snapped asparagus, creamy chocolates and palate-pleasing wines and cheeses along the way.  You can even participate in Blossom Time Festival activities, such as the Grand Floral Parade.  This event is Michigan's oldest and largest multi-community festival.

Red Bud MX National Championship

Known as the best dirt on earth, each year. the world of motocross comes to Red Bud MX, a US motocross race track located in Buchanan, Michigan, USA. The track is located less than 30 minutes south of our campground and is surrounded by agricultural farming fields in this rural community. It is home to one of the largest motocross tracks in the Midwest, and is favorite to many pro riders.

Tulip Time Festival - Holland, Mi

Celebrate the joy, tradition and beauty that is Tulip Time, and one of the most popular festivals in the United States!  Enjoy parades, Dutch dance, shows and events along with literally millions of tulips blooming around the City of Holland, Michigan.  Just a 40 minutes drive north of our campground, your can be part of the hustle and bustle during the day, but stay with us to avoid the crowds at night.
