A Western Experience at Old Tucson

A Western Experience runs yearly from January to May and will return in January 2024. Built-in 1939, Old Tucson is a premier western film studio and a family theme park where the Spirit of the Old West comes alive. Relive the 1800s of the Wild West and walk in the footsteps of legendary actors such as John Wayne and Dean Martin. Enjoy live-action theater in our authentic rustic cowboy town, take a ride on our miniature locomotive and our marvelous carousel, explore a haunted mine, or relax in our air-conditioned grand palace while enjoying ice-cold drinks and live entertainment. Each time you visit Old Tucson there is something new to discover, from western days to special seasonal events, see for yourself and experience the fun!

Care Camps Big Weekend & Mother's Day

We have a full line-up of fun planned for KOA Care Camps Big Weekendand Mother's Day including music, crafts, movies, raffle, food and fun. Throughout the weekend, we'll have special events to raise funds for Care Camps, including an ice cream social and pancake breakfast.
Your stay will make a difference in the lives of children with cancer, by helping raise funds for medically supervised Care Camps across North America. These camps give kids with cancer a chance to attend a summer camp and just be a kid again. Funds raised from the Saturday, May 11 campground donation support the KOA Care Camps Trust, which distributes more than $1 million annually to support 125+ Care Camps. La Encantada Winter Fine Art Market

Agave Heritage Festival

Agave Heritage Festival began in 2008 as Agave Fest, a Cinco de Mayo celebration featuring tequila tastings and a tequila “Iron Bar Chef” competition at the historic Hotel Congress. As the festival grew in the following years, the number of different agave spirits featured at the event more than doubled, and food specials were elevated from cheap eats to regionally focused culinary treats. Today, Agave Heritage Festival is a city-wide, destination event that spotlights the southwest region through the lens of the agave plant. Agave Heritage Festival celebrates the unique importance of the agave plant and the borderlands culture with seminars, trade shows, and world-class culinary events.

Willcox Wine Festival

Rated once by Fodor's Travel as one of the top-10 wine festivals in North America, the Willcox Wine Country Festival is a celebration at the historic Railroad Park in rural Willcox. The festival, presented by Cochise Graham Wine Council, featuring 16 of Arizona's best wineries along with over 30 non-winery vendors including fine arts, artisan foods, vintage vendors, and non-stop entertainment along with 2 food trucks. The Festival begins Friday from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM and continues Saturday and Sunday from 11:00 AM to 5:00 PM.

Southeast Arizona Birding Festival

The Southeast Arizona Birding Festival offers expert-guided birding, wildlife, and cultural field trips, photography and bird-ID workshops, free nature presentations, vendors, and activities. You will get a chance to see birds you can find nowhere else in the United States, including rare hummingbirds, and discover why Southeastern Arizona is consistently recognized as one of America's foremost birding destinations. This festival was founded in 1949, and is presented by Tucson Audubon Society.
