KOA Chili Cook-off & Halloween Event

Halloween Extravaganza
Friday:

• 1pm- Arrive all safe and sound but keep an eye out for Sasquatch! You just might spot him roaming the woods…
  

• 10am- Tie-Dye T-Shirts ($20 Care Camp Donation)
  
• 12pm- Halloween Music Bingo - Free Event -
  
• 2pm- Pumpkin Carving/Painting ($) Kids paint mini pumpkins for free *All proceeds go to Care Camp
  
• 5pm- Chili Cook-Off: Bring your own chili and compete against your fellow campers for 1st, 2nd, & 3rd place.
  
• *Winner of best decorated campsite will be announced and prize of $25 to spend in the Kampstore given at same time as winners for Chili Cook Off
  
• 6:30pm-Trick or Treat: Put on your favorite costume and join the kids in trick or treating from one end of the campground to the other or stay warm and cozy in your camper while wearing your favorite costume and pass out candy to the kids/adult kids at heart.
  
• 8pm- Movie Night "Hocus Pocus"

Indiana Wine Festival

The Indiana Wine Fair is a wine festival held every year at the Story Inn in Nashville, IN. This year is the 20th annual event. The Festival will have up to 40 of Indiana's finest wineries, food trucks, local farms, and vendors. Come and enjoy one-ounce pours to an appreciative audience, selling wines by the glass & bottles for carry-out. It is a great chance to build up your wine cellar!

Brown County Humane Society Chocolate Walk

Starts: 11/09/2025 - Ends: 11/09/2024

Chocolate Walk - November 9th, 2024, 10:00 am – 5:00 pm. Tickets go on sale Thursday, August 1st. Stroll through the beautiful town of Nashville as you sample chocolate-themed treats - over 30 local shops and restaurants. You can even do a little early holiday shopping along the way! Come alone or with a friend, or invite a group of friends and make a weekend out of it. Some friends and families make it a yearly event! Whatever you do, it's a guilt-free pleasure because all of the money supports the homeless pets of Brown County!

Summer Get-A-Way Cabins

Starts: 06/01/2025 - Ends: 09/01/2024

Come and camp with us this Summer and enjoy the colorful flowers of the season. Sit by the campfire and enjoy some s'mores, or hang out with your fellow campers and play some outdoor games. Take a drive around the county to see the many covered bridges Indiana is known for! Stay in one of the many Cabins we have to offer. From a Camping Cabin to a Deluxe one, two, or three-room Cabin, we have something for everyone. We provide the linens for all our deluxe Cabins free of charge for you. You can also rent a linen bundle for the Camping Cabins if you want a hassle-free stay. Come and get away for a weekend and enjoy the quiet and peace of the Little Smokies.

Care Camp Weekend

Starts: 05/10/2025 - Ends: 05/11/2024

The Big Weekend helps raise funds to send kids with cancer to medically-supervised camps all across North America. Kids fighting cancer deserve a chance to attend a summer camp and just feel like a kid. Funds raised support the KOA Care Camps Trust which distributes more than $1 million dollars annually to support 125+ Care Camps each year.

The event schedule is as follows and is subject to change:
Saturday-
11am-12pm The first 15 people to donate $50 to Care Camp (between 11-12) will receive a unique, hand made, one of a kind, leather Dog Leash.
12pm- Music Bingo (Free)
2pm- Tie-Dye T-Shirts ($20 each)
6pm- Cook Out w/porkburgers & Hot Dogs a coke and a bag of chips ($10 each)
7pm- Daniel Meyer Band
7pm- Papa's Ice cream Floats ($5 each)

Christmas in July

We are so excited to celebrate our first annual Christmas in July event with you! Make sure to book your reservation with us early so you wont miss out. The more popular this event becomes the more events we will do over more days.

Friday:
1pm- Arrive. When setting up your campsite, don't forget to decorate your site. The winners of the site decoration contest will be announced before the movie Saturday night. Winner gets $25 to spend in the Kampstore.

Saturday:

BroCoCon 2024 – Family Gaming Convention

General Admission
Brown County Game Conference (BroCoCon) is a family-friendly consumer game show hosted by The Toy Chest. It is designed to be fun to attend with the whole family or without kids. We will have games to learn and play (as well as purchase) in strategy, family, party, and preschool categories. There will also be special events, game tournaments, preschool game highlights, outdoor games, and strategy game instruction. General admission tickets allow admission to the general event from 10am-5pm as well as continued access to open-play spaces.*Children 5 and under are free
Adult Game Night In the evening we host an 18+ adult game night, which boasts game speed dating (play a game until the bell dings, them move to the next table) and a cash bar. The ticket for this event is sold separately and can be attended without attending the daytime event. Adult Game Night Tickets allow admission to the game night hosted from 7-10pm.
Why attend? Board games bring people together. In our inaugural year,BroCoCon boasted 90 games from 20 vendors and saw over 200 attendees. One person noted, "I've never seen such a large group of people with nobody looking at a phone, " and another attendee call it, "More fun than GenCon." We fondly remember the kids who showed up disappointed that we didn't have video games, then at end of the day couldn't select just one board game to purchase. If you're craving fun and connection, you won't be disappointed.

Dog Days of Summer

 About Care Camps:
Since its inception, Care Camps has raised more than $24 million so kids can attend camp free of charge, with no additional cost to their already financially burdened families. While the number of kids diagnosed with cancer continues to grow, the cost of camp has risen to an average of $2,050 a week per child, creating an ever-increasing demand for funding. Someday, cancer will be nothing more than a memory. Until that day, Care Camps is here to bring hope, healing, and outright fun for kids with cancer and their families. Through its charitable fundraising efforts, Care Camps will provide necessary support to send kids with cancer to medically supervised camps, where they can have fun, build awesome friendships, feel the joy that comes from camping and spending time in nature, make memories that will help them heal and ultimately return home feeling renewed and filled with hope.

1pm- Candle DIY w/your loved ones picture ($5 each) This event is for older kids and adults who have lost a loved one in the military. Email a picture of your loved one and we will be using your picture on a candle in remembrance. You will get to take this home.
2pm- The Passing Game
4pm- Kids Crafts
*Don't forget to stop by and enjoy our Memorial Day photo props for some great laughs and memories!
