Indiana Wine Festival

The Indiana Wine Fair is a wine festival held every year at the Story Inn in Nashville, IN. This year is the 22nd annual event. The Festival will have up to 40 of Indiana's finest wineries, food trucks, local farms, and vendors. Come and enjoy one-ounce pours to an appreciative audience, selling wines by the glass & bottles for carry-out. It is a great chance to build up your wine cellar!

Brown County Humane Society Chocolate Walk

Chocolate Walk - November 8th, 2025, 10:00 am – 5:00 pm. Tickets go on sale, August 15th. Stroll through the beautiful town of Nashville as you sample chocolate-themed treats - over 40 local shops and restaurants. You can even do a little early holiday shopping along the way! Come alone or with a friend, or invite a group of friends and make a weekend out of it. Some friends and families make it a yearly event! Whatever you do, it's a guilt-free pleasure because all of the money supports the homeless pets of Brown County!

Brown County Humane Society Barn Sale

Come and join us for the biggest yard sale of the year, with thousands of items available. Come support the local Humane Society by spending all your money on great things. This is a great place for those DIY-ers to find some great items for either re-sale or decor. All of the money goes to support the animals at the shelter. The event will run Thursday the 13th @ 8am-4pm through Saturday the 15th.

Dawg Gone Walk & Fiesta

Brown County Humane Society creates an afternoon of Dawg-gone fun for humans and their furry canine companions. We have games, contests, pampering stations, information booths, and even shopping! Funds raised for the event go directly to the feeding and care of homeless pets at the shelter. This helps us maintain and improve our amazing 98% save rate, one of the nation's best. Come out and join the fun.PLUS: The first 125 people to register get a free goody bag.

Summer Get-A-Way Cabins

Starts: 06/01/2026 - Ends: 09/30/2026

Come and camp with us this Summer and enjoy the colorful flowers of the season. Sit by the campfire and enjoy some s'mores, or hang out with your fellow campers and play some outdoor games. Take a drive around the county to see the many covered bridges Indiana is known for! Stay in one of the many Cabins we have to offer. From a Camping Cabin to a Deluxe one, two, or three-room Cabin, we have something for everyone. We provide the linens for all our Deluxe Cabins free of charge for you. You can also rent a linen bundle for the Camping Cabins if you want a hassle-free stay. We also have Glamping Tent for a new experence camping in the woods. Come and get away for a weekend and enjoy the quiet and peace of the Little Smokies.

BroCoCon 2026 – Family Gaming Convention

General Admission
Brown County Game Conference (BroCoCon) is a family-friendly consumer game show hosted by The Toy Chest. It is designed to be fun to attend with the whole family or without kids. We will have games to learn and play (as well as purchase) in strategy, family, party, and preschool categories. There will also be special events, game tournaments, preschool game highlights, outdoor games, and strategy game instruction. General admission tickets allow admission to the general event from 10am-5pm as well as continued access to open-play spaces.*Children 5 and under are free
Adult Game Night In the evening we host an 18+ adult game night, which boasts game speed dating (play a game until the bell dings, them move to the next table) and a cash bar. The ticket for this event is sold separately and can be attended without attending the daytime event. Adult Game Night Tickets allow admission to the game night hosted from 7-10pm.
Why attend? Board games bring people together. In our inaugural year,BroCoCon boasted 90 games from 20 vendors and saw over 200 attendees. One person noted, "I've never seen such a large group of people with nobody looking at a phone, " and another attendee call it, "More fun than GenCon." We fondly remember the kids who showed up disappointed that we didn't have video games, then at end of the day couldn't select just one board game to purchase. If you're craving fun and connection, you won't be disappointed.

Painted Rock Scavenger Hunt
Around the Campground, there are 10 painted rocks. They are all numbered so that you know they are the right rocks. Whoever finds each rock first and brings it to Christi at the Camp Store can then trade it for a prize. You can choose to trade the rock in for a free prize or you can keep the rock and forfeit the prize, your choice. Enjoy the summer sunshine and get to searching. This event will last as long as there are still rocks to be found. This event is free for everyone.

Music BINGO, Disney edition
Meet us on the back pavilion behind the camp store for a jammin' good time! Love rocking out to music? Love playing bingo? Well come and enjoy music bingo with prizes. This event is free for everyone.

2 PM
Pool Party Game
All ages welcome. Come and have a laugh-out-loud good time at the pool. We will be playing a game that everyone can enjoy, full of funny antics, water diving, trivia, and so much more! Winner gets a prize. This event is free for everyone.

7 PM
Band Night
BYO chairs or use one of ours and come and hang out for some live music. You are also welcome to BYO adult beverages. ;) Come and enjoy the band, Seagulls Don't Care. If you would like to sample their music before you arrive you can find them on youtube. This event is free for everyone.

Care Camp Weekend

The Big Weekend helps raise funds to send kids with cancer to medically-supervised camps all across North America. Kids fighting cancer deserve a chance to attend a summer camp and just feel like a kid. Funds raised support the KOA Care Camps Trust which distributes more than $1 million dollars annually to support 125+ Care Camps each year.

Brown County Dragway

Brown County Dragway is an 1/8th mile race track tucked away on Brown County's Gatesville Road in Bean Blossom. This family-run business has been around for almost 60 years! Bring the family to enjoy nostalgic cars going fast down the track for some bracket racing. Special events held at the Brown County Dragway include War In The Woods, where the action is very much like the TV show Street Outlaws, and the Fall Invitational, which is the biggest bracket racing event of the year! If you've never raced, come on down and give it a go! Any car that doesn't leak fluids is welcome on the track. They will even help you learn!

Harmony Valley Music Festival

Located just 30 minutes from us in Martinsville, IN is the Morgan County Fair.
4-H exhibits, arts and crafts, demolition derby, free entertainment, tractor pull, live music, fair food, carnival rides, livestock, & merchant vendors. 
$5 parking. No admission fee.

Brown County Enduro Race

Join us for The Brown County Enduro Race! We'll have Open and Expert Men's and Women's categories, adults will race on Saturday, May 9th starting at 9am. We will begin the race from the Rally 1 campground in Brown County State Park. This year the youth race will also take place on Saturday, May 9th and will also start from the Rally 1 campground.

Good People Good Times Music Festival 2026 will be held at none other than the original stomping grounds it was founded on in 2011: Explore Brown County at Valley Branch Retreat in Nashville, Indiana.
