The Cardinal / Ottawa South KOA is family camping at its best. Located just an hour from Ottawa and close to the 1000 Islands region, this is the ultimate destination for eastern Ontario camping. Spend your weekends or entire vacations on our campground and enjoy a wide variety of amenities, including our splash pad, pool, pirate ship playground, Big Bouncer and mini putt. The kids will enjoy our themed weekend activities, or take the family on a day trip to explore Ottawa or the St. Lawrence river area. We offer themed activities each weekend, as well as activities during the week in July and August.
Our sites range from big-rig friendly 50 amp patio sites to large treed 30 amp back in sites, and our convenient deluxe cabins and lodges. Each site has a picnic table, fire ring, water source, and electricity.
Get away from the noise of the highway and bustle of the city in our beautiful, quiet, rural location. Nightly quiet hours between 11:00 PM and 8:00 AM provide a secure and relaxing experience for our guests.
NOTE: WE DO NOT HAVE SEWERS ON OUR SITES. WE HAVE A DUMPING STATION OR THE HONEY WAGON CAN COME TO YOUR SITE TO PUMP OUT YOUR RV FOR A FEE OF $20.00 PER DUMP. THE HONEY WAGON IS NOT AVAILABLE DURING MEAL TIMES OR ON SUNDAY MORNINGS WHEN WE USE IT FOR DEPARTING GUESTS.

Saturday October 10th:
All Day Scavenger Hunt - Scavenger hunt sheets are available for pick-up in the office.
10:30am Craft - Come and make a fun Halloween themed craft! Will be done beside the party tent.
12:00pm Pumpkins - Buy your pumpkins in front of the office for some Halloween pumpkin carving!
2-3pm Trick or Treating - Trick or treating will begin at 2:00. Adults are encouraged to hand out candy at each site. Please finish trick or treating by 3:00pm.
4pm Hayride - Join us at the back of the main building for a fun hayride around the campground! Fun for all ages!
8:30pm Haunted House - Located at the party tent. Entrance is between T02 and T03. Not recommended for young children.
Sunday, October 11th:
All Day Scavenger Hunt - Scavenger hunt sheets are available for pick-up in the office.
10:30am Game - Join us in the back field to play a fun outdoor game! Note: close-toed boots are recommended.
12:30pm Bingo - Bingo will take place beside the party tent. BINGO cards will be given out at the tent before the game begins. Make sure to yell BINGO for a chance to win a prize!
2:30pm Ice Cream Social - Location moved to Fireside Pizza. $5.00/bowl proceeds to KOA Care Camps to send kids with cancer to camp. Please stand behind the line when ordering. Pay with cash, credit or debit. Ice cream is only available until the last person in line is served.
4:30pm Group Colouring - Join us beside the party tent to participate in some group colouring!
7:00pm Pumpkin Walk - Meet near the dog park to participate in the pumpkin walk. Flash lights are permitted from 7-7:30. Flash lights are not allowed from 7:30-8pm. Note: closed-toe shoes and bug spray is recommended.
Site Decorating Contest - Top 3 decorated sites win a prize!
(Return your ballot to the front desk before 4pm on Sunday)
Pumpkin Judging - Top 3 sites win a prize!
Leave your carved pumpkins at the site mark once you are finished carving them to find out who carved the best pumpkins! Winners will be posted on board in front of D row at 4pm on Sunday.

Regular Kabin reservations require: 2 days reservation, One night deposit, $25.00 to cancel with 7 days or more notice, you will lose your deposit if you cancel within 7 days of the arrival date;
Kabin reservations for long weekends require: 3 days reservation, One night deposit, $50.00 to cancel with 14 days or more notice; you will lose your deposit if you cancel within 14 days of the arrival date;
Regular Lodge reservations require: 2 days reservation, One night deposit, $50.00 to cancel with 14 days or more notice; you will lose your deposit if you cancel within 14 days of the arrival date;
Lodge reservations for long weekends require: 3 days reservation One night deposit, $100 to cancel with 21 days or more notice; you will lose your deposit if you cancel within 21 days of the arrival date;
Notice: No shows on day of arrival will have to pay the full amount of the stay. No refund for early departure.
