Yellowstone Songwriter Festival

The third annual Yellowstone Songwriter Festival will be held in downtown Cody September 5 – 7, 2024. This festival showcases the art of songwriting for three days in Cody. This year's line-up includes five Nashville hit songwriters and eighteen rising stars who will perform 24 unique shows in six of Cody's premier restaurants, bars, and theaters.

- Mounted Shooting Seminars and Competition that is a fast-paced western event

- The great all mule rodeo, followed by a great steak or hamburger dinner and a live band at the barn dance

No Pets allowed. Service animals are welcomed.
No outside food/beverages allowed.
We encourage supporters to bring a camp chair.

Heart Mountain Pilgrimage

This annual event sees former incarcerees and their descendants return to the site where they were unjustly imprisoned during World War II, for a weekend of recollecting, processing, and of opening up new dialogues. This event not only brings former incarcerees back, but provides an opportunity for locals to engage with this group of people, and to learn more about this tragic story. Activities include film screenings, educational sessions, multi-generational discussions, speakers, performers, and tours around the national historic landmark site with former incarcerees who were confined at Heart Mountain during the war. Grab some grilled sandwiches, gourmet wagyu or plain hot dogs, Cascade Glacier dipped ice cream bars, lactose free soft serve ice cream, popcorn, soda, and other treats at Clem's Canteen & Creamery in the lobby before taking a seat. You'll meet Annie Oakley, "Wild Bill" Hickok, Frank Butler, sharpshooters, saloon girls, and other colorful characters from the west, as Buffalo Bill Cody's dream of becoming the WORLD'S greatest showman to ever live, comes to life. Our dancers, musicians, and actors are certain to entertain you with the fascinating true story of William F. Cody, our towns namesake; and well-known songs that will have you singing along. For an added unique experience, during intermission the audience can interact with cast members in character and belly up to the stage bar to buy a sarsaparilla. It's a full night of live entertainment that all ages and groups will enjoy!. July 2-4 there will be only one show at 2:00 p.m.
