Vacation close to the seashore when you stay at our campgrounds in South Haven. Make memories lounging on the sandy shores, exploring downtown attractions, touring lighthouses and splashing in the ocean waves. Covert / South Haven KOA Holiday is also near Silver Beach County Park, named one of the top 10 beaches in the United States. 

Staying near Lake Michigan beaches is ideal whether you are looking for a romantic getaway for couples, a fun trip with friends or an exciting family camping experience. Relax with beautiful views overlooking orchards and vineyards in what is referred to as the Napa Valley of the Midwest. Taste old-fashioned goodness with homemade fresh pies made from Southwest Michigan fruit farms and farmer's markets, offering pick-your-own seasonal peaches, apples, raspberries and more. If you love blueberries, you will not want to miss the National Blueberry Festival in South Haven with blueberry pancake breakfasts and pie-eating contests. You can even pick blueberries right from our campground!

Other local events include Harborfest in downtown South Haven where locals gather for live music, dancing, rides, games and delicious food vendors. The annual Biketober Festival celebrates Michigan's great harvest season with bikes, fruits and wine. 

When you are ready to head back to our South Haven RV Park, there is a lot to do here, too. Weekends are exciting with themed activities and events. Experience fall fun with Halloween weekends filled with hay rides, pumpkin decorating and trick-or-treating.

Kids can take advantage of our campground's recreational activities like the splash pad, Jumping Pillow, bike rentals, gem mining, gaga ball, trampoline basketball, volleyball and horseshoes. Our swimming pool is open from Memorial Day to Labor Day weekend, and a Barrel Train gives kids free tours throughout the park. 

Our RV Sites offer peaceful locations to gather for family activities around the campfire and enjoy a delicious BBQ and s'mores, take part in a card game or watch the activities on the lake. Traditional tent camping provides an outdoorsy experience with stargazing and falling asleep to the sound of nature. The luxury of Deluxe Cabins offers a glamping experience with cozy beds, air conditioning, restrooms and kitchen options. Our RV Sites, Tent Sites, Deluxe Cabins and Camping Cabins also all include Wi-Fi access, so you can stay connected with faraway friends and share your fantastic trip photos with them. Tents are not allowed on RV sites, shade canopy is okay.

SELECT MY SITE FEATURE:  This feature is NON-REFUNDABLE.  While the deposit will follow the campground cancellation guidelines outlined below, the $25  fee for the Select My Site feature is not refundable and is separate from the deposit. 

RV/TENT SITES (REGULAR/NON-HOLIDAY) : 48 hours cancellation notice is required. Notify us by phone no later than 12pm EST, more than two days before your scheduled arrival date to receive your deposit refund, minus a $10 cancellation fee.  Cancellations within 48 hrs of arrival date forfeit one night.CAMPING CABINS (REGULAR/NON-HOLIDAY) :  7 days cancellation notice required. Please notify us by phone more than one week before your scheduled arrival date to receive your deposit refund, minus a $10 cancellation fee.  Cancellations within 7 days of arrival date forfeit one night.  Cancellations made 48 hrs or less from arrival date forfeit full amount.DELUXE CABINS/GLAMING TENTS  (ANYTIME) :30 days notice is required. Please notify us by phone greater than 30 days prior to arrival date to receive your deposit refund, minus a $10 cancellation fee. Cancellations 30 days or less from arrival date will forfeit one night.  Cancellations within 48 hrs of arrival date forfeit full amount of stay.  No rain checks for holiday/special event weekends.

Notify us by phone no later than 12pm EST, more than 14 days before your scheduled arrival date to receive your deposit refund, minus a $10 cancellation fee.  Cancellations within the 14 days receive your deposit refund, minus one night stay.  Cancellations made 48 hrs or less from arrival date forfeit full amount of stay. No rain checks for holiday/special event weekends.CAMPING CABINS (HOLIDAY) : 30 days notice is required. Please notify us by phone greater than 30 days prior to arrival date to receive your deposit refund, minus a $10 cancellation fee. Cancellations 30 days or less from arrival date will forfeit one night.  Cancellations within 48 hrs of arrival date forfeit full amount of stay. No rain checks for holiday/special event weekends.HOLIDAY/SPECIAL EVENT WEEKENDS INCLUDE: Care Camp Weekend (Mother's Day), Memorial Day, HarborFest (second full weekend in June), July 4th WEEK, Blueberry Festival (second full weekend of August), Labor Day, VKR appreciation, Halloween weekends (first THREE weekends of October. All events are subject to change).  All Holiday and special event weekends have minimum stays. All reservations will be held until 9:00 AM the morning following your scheduled arrival. If you have not arrived, called to cancel your reservation or informed us of a next day arrival by phone, your reservation will be considered a no-show and canceled without a refund. Cancellations may only be done by phone, we are unable to accept cancellations via email or text.  No refunds for early check out on Holiday or special event weekends. No refunds for early check outs on cabins, deluxe cabins or Glamping Tents at any time.
