The Craig KOA Journey is located in northwest Colorado, between Dinosaur National Monument and Rocky Mountain National Park, on the way to Yellowstone. Moffat County is home to one of the last free-roaming herds of wild mustangs and is also considered the "Elk Capital of the World." Craig is filled with American and Pioneer history and Old West lore. Get a taste of local culture at one of the many activities, including Grand Old West Days, Moffat County Balloon Festival, Moffat County Fair, Sombrero Ranches' Great American Horse Drive, and the Whittle The Wood Rendezvous. Summer activities for you and your family to enjoy in the area include hiking, rafting, golfing, horseback riding, biking, tubing, kayaking, motocross and off-road vehicle trails.
The Craig KOA Journey offers big-rig friendly pull-thru /full hook-up RV sites, camping cabins, deluxe cabins and tenting sites. Relax in your lawn chair and make memories around the campfire.

CANCELLATION/NO SHOW POLICY
RV & TENT SITES (REGULAR) 48 hours cancellation notice is required. Notify your KOA by phone by 4 p.m. more than 7 days before your scheduled arrival to receive your deposit refund, minus a $20 cancellation fee. Cancellations within the 7 days of the reservation will forfeit one night.
CAMPING CABINS (REGULAR): 14 days cancellation notice required. Please notify your KOA by phone more than one week before your scheduled arrival to receive your deposit refund, minus a $20 cancellation fee. Cancellations 14 days or less from arrival will forfeit the one night deposit. Cancellation rules change in October/November during hunting season and are listed below.
RV/TENT SITES (HUNTING SEASON): 14 day notice is required. Please call us by 4 p.m., more than 14 days prior to your scheduled arrival to receive your deposit minus a $10 cancellation fee. Cancellations 14 days or less from arrival will result forfeit the 3 night deposit.
CAMPING CABINS (HUNTING SEASON OCTOBER/NOVEMBER) 30 days notice is required. Please notify us by phone more than 30 days prior to your arrival to receive your deposit refund, minus a $25 cancellation fee/ each day of the reservation. Cancellations 30 days or less from arrival will forfeit the the 4 night minimum deposit. All cabins have a minimum stay requirement during hunting season.
Your long-term stay is confirmed and we look forward to seeing you. Your first month's rent is due when checking in and there is no refund for early departures. If you have any questions or concerns prior to your arrival, please call the office at 970-824-5105. There is a non-refundable $150 deposit to secure your spot.
RESERVATION MADE AFTER THESE DEADLINES require nonrefundable deposits. Cancellations made after deadlines will result in forfeiture of all deposits.
