Devils Tower National Monument, named a "top 10 eco-tourism destination," is America's First National Monument. The monument was established in 1906 by Teddy Roosevelt. Nestled on the banks of the Belle Fourche River in the beautiful Black Hills of Wyoming, this KOA campground lies in the shadow of Devils Tower. Enjoy the nightly hayride through the historic Campstool Ranch, one of the oldest ranches in Wyoming. The movie Close Encounters of the Third Kind was filmed on-site in 1976, and it is shown nightly at the campground. This KOA offers a full-service restaurant, an extensive gift shop and a Sweet Shoppe that features legendary fudge, hand-dipped ice cream , and hot cinnamon sugar nuts.

Each year the Texas Trail Cruisers Car Club hosts the Devils Tower Car Show. Old and new car enthusiasts bring their vehicles to the Tower for a special show and to compete for prizes! It is truly an event to see with more than 100 cars gathering on the campground for viewing. Annually the Top Gun Award is given out in honor of former campground manager Matt Driskill.

The Devils Tower KOA and local sponsors host an amazing 4th of July Celebration every year! The event kicks off with the annual mullet contest, cornhole tournament, and music on the deck. Enjoy tasty treats from food vendors, our own Campstool Cafe, and sweets in our Sweet Shop. As night falls a spectacular fireworks display is set off illuminating Devils Tower. Bring your lawn chairs and refreshments, the show is amazing! Quiet hours are not observed during this event.

To cancel your reservation call 1-800-562-5785. All sites require cancellation 48 hours prior to arrival, before 4:00 p.m. Cancellations made after 4:00 p.m., 48 hours prior to arrival will be charged the full site fee. Cabins and tipis must be canceled seven (7) days prior to arrival to receive the deposit back in full. All other cancellations are subject to a $10 cancellation fee.
