Welcome to the 20th annual Carving in the Ozarks chainsaw carving festival held right in the heart of the Ozarks in Eureka Springs, Arkansas, on April 25th-26th.
This event brings together some of the most talented carvers from around the country (and even some international talent) to showcase their skills and compete for cash prizes.
WHAT TO EXPECT: This festival brings the art and mastery of chainsaw carving to a family friendly festival. Throughout the festival, you and your family will be able to watch as raw logs are transformed into stunning works of art right before your eyes. Whether you're a fan of bears, eagles, or other wildlife, you'll find something to admire among the many pieces on display.

The Great Passion Play

Staged in an outdoor amphitheater, the multi-level set, special lighting and sound effects, live animals, and a cast of 150 Biblically costumed actors come together to create the thrilling epic drama of Jesus Christ's last days on earth. This Christian attraction has been performed since 1968 in the beautiful Ozark Mountains in Eureka Springs, Arkansas. There are many places to stay in Eureka Springs and fun things to do! See the Easter story come to life from the first weekend in May through the last weekend in October. This experience is just the one for you, your family, group, or church!

33rd Annual Eureka Springs Kite Fest

“Art with an Altitude” Eureka Springs Kite Festival @ Turpentine Creek Wildlife Refuge.
Location: 7 miles south of Eureka Springs on scenic Hwy. 23 S.
The kites adorn the beautiful mountain side from competition level to beginners. Bring your favorite or let us help you build one. It's always a treat for the whole family. Free family event inviting attendees to bring their own kites or buy one at the refuge. The celebration includes vendors, contests and fun activities for adults and children.Donations to the refuge requested for kite making assistance. Admission is free for kite flying; regular admission prices apply for refuge admittance. Proceeds finance rescue and ongoing care for over 100 tigers, lions, cougars and other wildlife that make the sanctuary a life-long home.

War Eagle Craft Fair

This is the fair that started it all. Begun in 1954 by the Benton County Rug Weavers Association. It has become the premier juried show in Northwest Arkansas. There is so much history here you must visit their website to appreciate what 63 years has wrought.
