Explore beautiful Freeport, Maine from your closest KOA campground, just 6 miles away. We are situated on 50 acres, so enjoy our spacious RV sites; completely wooded for the back-to-nature feel, tree-lined and nestled in the woods, or wide-open pull through and Patio Sites. Try one of our unique dome cabins or glamping tent with a kitchen, full bathroom, and a private patio area, or our one or two-bedroom cabins, each with a refrigerator, microwave, and heater.
We invite you to socialize by enjoying our playground, horseshoe pits, basketball court and baseball field, or take a refreshing dip in our pool with water slide. We welcome groups (rallies, reunions, weddings, etc.) which include the use of the Recreation Hall with kitchen and/or pavilion. We have many planned activities, pancake breakfasts, ice cream socials and made-to-order Brick Oven Pizza in our brick oven! Do not miss out on our special "Theme Weekends", like Christmas in July, Haunted Weekend in August and Hawaiian Luau in September, to name a few!
If nature is your passion, you may explore one of our half-mile nature trails. We welcome you to enjoy our clean facilities as you take advantage of the over 101 things to do within a 60-mile radius of Freeport, including the famous LL Bean Store. As always, we believe you will find everything you have come to expect from a KOA.

Fryeburg Fair, Maine's Blue Ribbon Classic, is a fall spectacular in New England! Maine's largest agricultural fair, it runs annually during the first week of October, featuring livestock, harness racing, and entertainment. Located on the western border of Maine, with over 3,000 animals, an incredible array of food, entertainment, rides, contests, events and attractions. Something for everyone! Just the drive in itself, from the campground, with the fall leaf colors is amazing!

The Cumberland Fair, a cherished annual tradition in the heart of Maine at the Cumberland Fairgrounds in Cumberland, Maine. This event is a celebration of community, agriculture, and the rich cultural heritage of our region, offering a warm and welcoming atmosphere for families, friends, and visitors of all ages. This event includes Carnival rides, Live entertainment, Pumpkin contest, Rodeos and so much more!
FREEPORT/DURHAM KOA POLICY:
HOLIDAY WEEKENDS: There is a 3 NIGHT MINIMUM STAY required for all accommodations and RV/Tent sites, (exception 2 night minimum for Columbus Day Holiday, Oct.). Holidays are Memorial Day, July 4th, Labor Day and Columbus Day.
A 3-night deposit is due at time of reservation for all site types. NO REFUNDS for cancellations. Dates can be changed to avoid loss of deposit.
CANCELLATION DEADLINES:
RV/Tent Sites: You must give 7 days cancellation notice. Call the KOA you made your reservation with by 4 p.m., seven days before your scheduled arrival.
Lodging & Accommodations: You must give 14 days cancellation notice. Call the KOA you made your reservation with by 4 p.m., fourteen days before your scheduled arrival.
