Now a peaceful camping retreat, we offer a relaxing escape just minutes from Harpers Ferry's historic district and an easy drive to Washington D.C. Our RV sites accommodate rigs up to 95 feet and our swimming pool is open from Memorial Day to Labor Day. With your hosts, Recreational Adventures Co., you'll experience both the echoes of America's past and the comforts of a modern camping getaway.

Ways to Stay
Choose from pull-thru and back-in RV sites with full hookups for travelers of all sizes. Camping Cabins provide a cozy rustic retreat while Deluxe Cabins come with full bathrooms, kitchens and extra space to unwind. For a classic outdoor experience, tent sites let you sleep under the West Virginia sky.

Amenities
From the moment you arrive, you'll have everything you need for a comfortable and carefree stay. Enjoy clean bathrooms with hot showers, laundry facilities and a KOA store stocked with essentials and local souvenirs. Stay connected with complimentary Wi-Fi and cable TV. RV guests benefit from 50 max-amp hookups, site escorts and garbage pickup. Pets are welcome and KampK9® provides a fenced play area for off-leash fun. Firewood, propane and a covered pavilion for gatherings are also available.

Recreation
For award-winning fun, take a dip in our heated Jr. Olympic-size pool, play ball at our indoor and outdoor basketball courts and try out our sandy volleyball court. Don't miss our indoor arcade with games for all ages, or putt around our 18-hole mini golf course. Kids will love our playground and huge jumping pillow. Then wrap up your day with a family movie night in our renovated indoor theater.

Whether you're a history buff or an outdoor enthusiast, our location where the Shenandoah and Potomac Rivers meet offers adventures at every turn. Explore battlefields, family-friendly museums and historical sites like John Brown's Fort and the Harpers Ferry National Historic Park. If it's action you're looking for, check out River Riders for awesome water and air adventures – they will even pick you up for free from our campground. Or take a day trip to our nation's capital to see the Lincoln Memorial, the National Mall and the Smithsonian museums.

Policies

Cancellation Policy: If you need to cancel your reservation, please call the campground before the deadlines below to receive a refund of your deposit, less a $20 administrative cancellation fee. Text and email notifications of cancellations will not be accepted. 

Cancellation Deadlines:

  • RV & Tent Sites: You must give 7 days cancellation notice. Call the KOA you made your reservation with by 4 p.m., seven days before your scheduled arrival.
  • Lodging & Accommodations: You must give 14 days cancellation notice. Call the KOA you made your reservation with by 4 p.m., fourteen days before your scheduled arrival. 
  • Cancellation Details:• Reservations made after these deadlines require nonrefundable deposits.• Cancellations made after the deadlines will result in forfeiture of the full deposit.• No refunds are given due to the discomforts of nature, including no-shows and early checkouts.• No refunds are given on or after the arrival date.• Refunds will be processed using the original credit/debit card, with no exceptions.• The cancellation policy may be amended during a Regional/National travel disruption.• Holidays and special events may have unique deposit and/or cancellation requirements. Please check with your selected KOA for details.
