The end of the road is the beginning of a great Alaskan adventure at this KOA campground and RV park, perched on the edge of Alaska's Kenai Peninsula. Our campground provides a peaceful retreat in a truly remarkable setting. Gaze out across Kachemak Bay and Cook Inlet with views of snow capped mountains, active volcanoes, fishing boats, surfacing whales and other wildlife. Hiking trails are just across the road. Downtown Homer is 3 miles away, filled with great restaurants, local art galleries and museums. Visit the Homer Spit for more gift shops, local seafood and outdoor activities such as fishing, kayaking, bear viewing and beach walking. Take the state ferry to the coastal communities of Halibut Cove, Seldovia and Kodiak.
We currently offer the following activities:
Starts: 07/01/2027 - Ends: 08/14/2026
Homer has been dubbed the "City of Peonies", with 25 local peony farms. Enjoy 6 weeks of peony-inspired local events starting in July!
Starts: 05/20/2026 - Ends: 09/10/2026
Looking straight across the bay from the park is a small village called Seldovia.
A wonderful day excursion is to take the over for lunch, walk around the small village or rent golf carts.
One of our favorite activities.
