Lake Tahoe Shakespeare Festival

You're not dreaming, you're experiencing the enchantment of the Lake Tahoe Shakespeare Festival.Each year in July and August, there are two productions featuring gorgeous costumes, stunning sets and one of the most talented professional acting companies in the West! On Monday evenings, the Showcase Series augments the Festival's main-stage productions with an array of live music and entertainment from diverse genres.The entertainment experience is complimented by al fresco dining at its on-site restaurant – Shakespeare's Kitchen. Alternatively, patrons may choose to bring their own food and drink for picnicking. More than just a casual evening on the beach, the festival has become one of the outstanding outdoor cultural events in the country. You don't have to be a Shakespeare aficionado to have a great time.The Lake Tahoe Shakespeare Festival is known for amazing performances of traditional Shakespearean works, but the event promises more than just that. The festival has expanded to include performances from the Reno Philharmonic Orchestra, Sierra Nevada Ballet and more.Be sure to check out more information on this year's Shakespeare Festival featured performances and decide quickly because these shows sell out fast! Hot August Nights

RENO, Nevada (Mar. 13, 2024) – Get those motors revved up with Hot August Nights first car show of 2024 – Spring Fever Revival – taking place May 17 – 18, 2024 in Reno, Nevada. Shine up those hot rods, muscle cars and classic beauties that are 1979 and older for two days of Show-n-Shines, Celebrity Choice Awards, a Poker Walk and tailgating with friends near and far. The event, taking place from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. each day at Grand Sierra Resort, is limited to the first 400 vehicles to register.The event is a HAN Event Series qualifier and also includes a merchandise booth, the Hot August Nights Foundation 50/50 raffle and a chance to preview the 2024 Foundation auction vehicle – a 1974 Plymouth Road Runner.Registration is free for 2024 Hot August Nights registered car participants and $60 for non-registered car participants.A limited number of “Insiders Club” registrations are available and include two days of parking inside the Grand Sierra Resort Silver State Pavilion – headquarters for the event, a welcome bag and an exclusive HAN Insiders Club T-shirt. Registration for the “Insiders Club” is capped at 75 vehicles.The 2024 Spring Fever Revival takes place at the Grand Sierra Resort near the Grand Bay Driving Range and at the Silver State Pavilion daily from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Celebrity Awards take place Saturday, May 18 at 4 p.m. Registrations for Spring Fever Revival are now available online.Hot August Nights' returns for its 37th annual event, Aug. 2 – 11. Reno Rodeo

The Wildest, Richest Rodeo in the West. The 2025 Reno Rodeo promises to be the biggest and best yet with more rip-roarin', boot-stompin', jaw-droppin' PRCA action. The Reno Rodeo is a PRCA (Professional Rodeo Cowboys Association) sanctioned sporting event and is a non-profit organization made up of over 1,000 volunteers. Each year, over 140,000 fans attend the 4th richest PRCA tour rodeo and the 3rd best as recognized by USA Today's 10 Best Readers Choice. The event impacts the Reno/Sparks area economy with $42 million going to hotels, casinos, restaurants and retail outlets. The Reno Rodeo has been nationally televised on The Cowboy Channel, CBS Sports, Fox Sports Net, Versus, ESPN, ESPN2 and ESPN Classic.
