Bennett Spring State Park lies minutes away, where clear spring-fed streams flow through a shady hardwood forest. Anglers seek out these prime trout waters, stocked daily during fishing season. Hikers can also explore 12 miles of trails leading past natural rock tunnels and through an oak-hickory forest.
Area outfitters rent canoes and rafts and offer guided tours for scenic floats down the Niangua River. Holiday weekends have a 3 night minimum. Stay payment is required in full. More than a weeks notice of cancellation is a $25 fee, less than a week you forfeit the total stay balance of the 3 day minimum.
