One of the most looked-forward-to events in Lethbridge is the annual Rotary Dragon Boat Festival! The heart of Southern Alberta is poised to become the epicenter of basketball excitement as the inaugural Western Slam Event gears up to take the region by storm. This electrifying event is set to unite athletes, coaches, and enthusiasts in a grand celebration of the sport and the vibrant community that fuels its passion.
Event Overview:
The Western Slam Event is a dynamic showcase of basketball talent scheduled to unfold from November 28 to November 30, 2024. Anchored at the renowned ENMAX Centre and Lethbridge College, this event promises to be a monumental occasion for both the basketball community and the Southern Alberta region. From November 28 to 30, four dynamic NCAA teams will engage in six intense games over three action-packed days, competing in the ENMAX Centre.

• With a lineup of highly competitive matches, skill-building clinics, and engaging programs, the event will provide a platform for players to display their talent and for fans to witness NCAA basketball at its finest.

Here is a synopsis of the concert:
Come watch some of the greatest Classic Rock acts in Canada at Spider Entertainment's 3-day Festival in TABER, AB. This show involves internationally recognized artists who have toured with some of the biggest names in music. 2024 - Spider Entertainment has changed up the schedule: Thursday will have bands from all over Southern Alberta (free for weekend ticket holders and a donation for Taber Food Bank, at the door for everyone else), while Friday and Saturday will each have three to four premier Canadian Classic Rock Bands each day! This is an outdoor concert with no reserved seating; approved lawn chairs or blankets are recommended for seating. Wristbands must be worn at all times. There are a limited number of camping spots next to the concert venue. There will be food trucks and beer gardens on site, concert merch to be purchased, and some exciting things to be announced in the coming months!! It's a weekend you WON'T want to miss!

Street Machine Weekend 2024

The annual Street Machine Weekend is back and ready for the 2024 summer season! This year it will be held July 13&14, with the classic show and shine in the downtown core, and then more activities at the exhibition, like the 100 foot Drag races.
Join us for the cool weekend and bring your classic car with you. For this weekend only, we will be allowing people an additional car at their site IF it is for the show. Please call the office and notify them that you are bringing your cool car/truck with you!

With the city of Calgary full of cowboys and thousands of visitors from around the world, many folks stay in Lethbridge and make the commute to Calgary for the day to enjoy all that the Calgary Stampede has to offer.
