Kentucky State Fair

The Kentucky State Fair is an 11-day celebration of Kentucky agriculture, culture, and fun held at the Kentucky Exposition Center in Louisville. At the fair you'll find more than 600,000 visitors each year enjoying a wide range of attractions — from livestock shows, horse competitions, and blue-ribbon contests, to thrill rides, concerts, vendor exhibits, and Deep-fried culinary treats. Highlights include the Texas Roadhouse Concert Series, a large midway called Thrill Ville with dozens of rides, and many unique Kentucky-themed exhibits (like the Country Ham auction, tobacco displays, and bourbon barrel crafts).

Veteran's Day Weekend

The Louisville South KOA Holiday will honor our veteran's with a weekend filled with patriotic activities. We will have a Veterans Appreciation Dinner, where veterans can dine for free while camping with their families. We will also have a community bonfire, an American Flag craft and free donuts on Saturday morning for our veterans.

Louder Than Life

Louder Than Life 2026 is a massive multi-day rock and metal festival returning to the Highland Festival Grounds at the Kentucky Exposition Center in Louisville from September 17–20, 2026. Known as one of North America's largest rock events, it brings together fans and nearly 200 bands across multiple stages for four days of high-energy live music, bourbon experiences, food vendors, and festival culture. The 2026 edition features an epic lineup with Iron Maiden headlining Thursday, My Chemical Romance Friday, Limp Bizkit Saturday, and TOOL closing out Sunday.
