Country Music Awards Weekend

The CMA Fest returns to Nashville, TN on June 5-8, 2025! Country music fans can celebrate the annual festival during our Country Music Weekend! Campers will enjoy making a guitar-inspired craft, ceramic painting, live music at the pool, fun train rides, tie dye, and movie in our event hall.

Heroes & Villains Weekend

Are you a Hero or a Villain? Come show off your stuff this weekend. The kids will have a rescue mission hunt, train rides, tie dye and a costume contest. There will be a mystery dinner, as well as hero and villain trivia. Be a hero and donate blood during our blood drive.

Luau Weekend

Tomato Art Fest

Tomato Art Fest has been uniting fruits and vegetables since 2003/2004. The annual festival attracts people from all over with fun-themed art, local music, delicious food, costumes, wacky contests, shopping, kids activities, & more.The 2025 Tomato Art Fest will take place on Friday, August 8 and Saturday, August 9 in Historic East Nashville's Five Points. The 2-day festival and concert are free to attend, welcoming to all, and costumes are encouraged. Additionally, there are a few official ticketed festival events that are optional.Located in Historic East Nashville's Five Points, The 21st annual Tomato Art Fest's 2-day celebration welcomes everyone to East Nashville August 9th and 10th, 2024 for a fun and wacky day of art, music, food, costumes, contests, shopping, kids activities, & more! The free, costume-encouraged event provides a wildly entertaining, fun-filled day for everyone. A community builder, Tomato Art Fest has steadily drawn larger crowds with each passing year. In 2022 an estimated 65,000 came to celebrate the event. The essence of Tomato Art Fest can really be found in the array of wacky & hilarious contests, and the Push, Pull & Wear Parade kicking off tomato weekend, full of floats and costumes. True to our namesake, the ART gets a big part of the tomato spotlight, where The Tomato ART Show and Tomato Art PreView Party showcases over 300 tomato-inspired pieces throughout the weekend. The local East Nashvillians behind this beloved event strive to improve the festival each year in all areas while keeping the character of Tomato Art Fest the same familiar fun that Nashville, TN has known and loved for 21 years. Bluegrass Along the Harpeth

2 AWESOME DAYS OF BLUEGRASS MUSIC, COUNTLESS MEMORIES MADE.Always held the 4th weekend in July, Bluegrass Along the Harpeth was started in 1991 and has had several homes in Franklin over the years. Most recently it has made it's home on the town square.  The historic backdrop is the perfect place for our weekend of music in honor of Franklin's own Grand Ole Opry stars Sam and Kirk McGee. This festival is put on and operated by old time musicians and dancers. It's their love for the music and its preservation that make this festival special and a not-to-be-missed event every year.  ?Friday night we have some of the best bluegrass bands around for a relaxing evening and end to the work week.  On Saturday, you will find some of the best musicians anywhere competing in our individual instruments and band contests.  In addition to all of the music, we have food and craft vendors that are sure to have something to satisfy a sweet tooth or be that one of a kind gift you have been wanting.

CMA Fest

CMA Fest is the biggest and best event in country music featuring four full days of fantastic country music starting at 10am each morning and ending each day with the top names in country music today performing at Nissan Stadium.A Brief history of CMA Fest…Starting in 1972 as “Fan Fair” at Municipal Auditorium in downtown Nashville, this event has grown for 50 years. The event moved out to the Nashville Fairgrounds in the 80's with concerts day and night at the Nashville Speedway, with dual stages set right on the front stretch of the track and autographs in the barns and buildings surrounding the track.In a brilliant move by CMA and the city of Nashville, in 2001 the festival moved to downtown which allows the guests to not only take in the festival events, but peruse the awesome honky tonks and clubs that are so popular.  In 2004 the name of the event was changed to CMA Music Festival.  For CMA Fest week in downtown Nashville, there are multiple stages set up in public areas.  In the past these have included Riverfront Park, Walk of Fame Park, the Bridgestone Arena Plaza and more.  The new Music City Center hosts Fan Fair X, an expo area with souvenirs, intimate stage performances and interviews, meet and greet opportunities and more.The biggest piece to the festival are the nightly concerts at Nissan Stadium where the Tennessee Titans of the NFL play their football.  50,000 plus fans have reserved seats to see the top names in country music in this incredible setting each night over the four days singing, swaying and enjoying the biggest party in country music!

Southern Festival of Books
