No matter when you visit Nashville KOA Resort, you can expect some great campground activities and plenty of live music. We offer these events on most weekends in the Summertime, though the activities may vary slightly for holidays or special events. Be sure to check out our schedule of Themed Weekends for even more camping fun!
- Fun Train Rides through the campground on Fridays and Saturdays in the Summertime
- Make-your-own Tie Dye Souvenirs on Saturdays in the Summertime
- A fun Foam Party to cool off during the Summer heat
- An incredible line up of live music, with musical performances everyday!
- Water Aerobics

80s Weekend
Starts: 09/19/2025 - Ends: 09/21/2025
It's a totally tubular weekend. Join us for all the awesome 80's fun. Make slap bracelets, join us for an 80's mystery dinner, costume contest and fun train rides. Make a tie dye shirts in righteous 80's colors.

Gather your goblins & ghouls for a ghostly weekend of Halloween fun at the Nashville KOA Resort! During weekends in October, we'll transform into a creepy campground crawling with hauntingly fun activities! Wear your costume for trick-or-treating on the campground, Halloween crafts, ceramic painting, a pet costume contest site decorating contest, pumpkin carving and more!

Southern Festival of Books
Starts: 10/18/2025 - Ends: 10/19/2025
The Southern Festival of Books: A Celebration of the Written Word is among the oldest literary festivals in the country, annually welcoming hundreds of authors and thousands of visitors to downtown Nashville each October.
The Festival, a program of Humanities Tennessee, is free and includes performance stages, food trucks, and loads of publishers and booksellers.

The Nashville Fair

Rooted in history and tradition, The Nashville Fair brings a nostalgic fair experience with a modern spin to Nashville's urban core. Enjoy culturally diverse events, agriculture, arts, and entertainment at The Fairgrounds Nashville—home to Nashville Fairgrounds Speedway & GEODIS Park. Take part in our 10-day fair featuring everything from thrilling midway rides to wrestling, axe throwing, balloon sculpting, nightly live music, and more. 12 South Farmers Market

Located in the heart of one of Nashville's most vibrant neighborhoods, the 12 South Farmers Market brings together local farmers, artisans, and food vendors every Tuesday from May through October. Enjoy a welcoming, family-friendly atmosphere with fresh produce, homemade goods, live music, and food trucks, all set in beautiful Sevier Park. Support small businesses and experience the best of Nashville's local food scene at this beloved weekly market.

CMA Fest
Starts: 06/04/2026 - Ends: 06/07/2026
CMA Fest is the biggest event in country music, with four days of country music from some of the genre's top names. Each day kicks off at 10 a.m. with free shows at Riverfront Park, Ascend Park, Walk of Fame Park, Bridgestone Plaza and Hard Rock Cafe. Watch up-and-coming country artists like Chris Lane, Kylie Morgan, Rita Wilson and more.The festival also has several unforgettable ticketed concerts and events. Music City Center hosts Fan Fair X, a country music expo with acoustic performances, artist interviews, shopping, meet and greet opportunities, games and more. Every night of CMA Fest, go to Nissan Stadium for performances by the top names in country music, including Kelsea Ballerini, Luke Bryan, Keith Urban, Megan Moroney and more.CMA Fest started in 1972 as Fan Fair at Municipal Auditorium. In the 1980s, the event moved to the Nashville Fairgrounds, with concerts day and night at Nashville Speedway. The event was moved to Downtown Nashville in 2001, and its current name was adopted in 2004. Today, over 50,000 people gather to celebrate country music during one of Nashville's biggest summer events.

Care Camps Big Weekend
Starts: 05/08/2026 - Ends: 05/09/2026
Your stay will make a difference in the lives of children with cancer, by helping raise funds for medically supervised pediatric oncology camps. These camps help children who have cancer enjoy care-free time focusing on fun, friends, and activities instead of on their illness. Stay at a participating KOA campground on May 8-9, 2026, and 50%* of your second night's stay will be donated to the Care Camps Foundation. This organization distributes $2 million annually to support over 100 pediatric oncology camps across the U.S. and Canada. Learn more at carecamps.org.

Comic Book Weekend

Always wanted to learn how to draw a comic book? This weekend is for you! We will have many activities throughout the weekend.
Tie dye, ceramic painting, sand art, water aerobics, and of course learn how to make a comic book page.

It just isn't a trip to The Music City without hearing live country music by some of Nashville, TN's best performers! Conveniently for our campers, you won't have to go all the way to a honky tonk
The Nashville KOA Resort hosts over 250 live music performances each year!
While the band line up varies, you can expect a schedule similar to this on most weeks:

- Songwriter & guitarist Aaron Helvig hosts an Open Mic Night every Tuesday evening
- Nashville recording artist Tyler Camp performs every Wednesday night
- Folk pop duo Emberland performs each Thursday evening

- An exciting variety of bands perform every Friday & Saturday night
