No matter when you visit Nashville KOA Resort, you can expect some great campground activities and plenty of live music. We offer these events on most weekends in the Summertime, though the activities may vary slightly for holidays or special events. Be sure to check out our schedule of Themed Weekends for even more camping fun!
- Fun Train Rides through the campground on Fridays and Saturdays in the Summertime

Water Wars Weekend
Starts: 07/11/2025 - Ends: 07/13/2025
Get set to get wet! During our Water Wars Weekend, campers can battle in a massive water gun fight, dance at our foam party and then cool off with our giant slip'n slide. We'll also have live music right on the campground!

80s Weekend

It's a totally tubular weekend. Join us for all the awesome 80's fun. Make slap bracelets, join us for an 80's dance party, costume contest and fun train rides. Make a tie dye shirts in righteous 80's colors.

Gather your goblins & ghouls for a ghostly weekend of Halloween fun at the Nashville KOA Resort! During weekends in October, we'll transform into a creepy campground crawling with hauntingly fun activities! Wear your costume for trick-or-treating on the campground, Halloween crafts, ceramic painting, a pet costume contest site decorating contest, pumpkin carving and more!

Labor Day Weekend

Book your campsite reservation early for this popular camping weekend! We have plenty of fun activities planned, including a Pool Party on Saturday with the foam machine. We will also show a movie on our poolside movie screen. Jump in for a great night!

We love our pets at the KOA! Pets weekend is all about our furry friends. We will have a pet costume contest, pet parade, and make homemade pet treats. We will also have our fun train rides and tie dye souvenirs.

Chili Cook-off Weekend

Do you make the best chili around? Put it to the test and enter our Chili Cookoff. Make sure to sign up at the front desk when you are checking in. We will have train rides, tie dye, plenty of live music, and of course the competition. May the best chili win.

You'll have a blast at our Luau Weekend! Activities will include a limbo tournament, "poi" eating contest, a coconut toss game, an outdoor movie night with a showing of Moana, fun train rides, tie dye souvenirs, and campground crafts. We'll also have live music at the pool and a fun Hawaiian cookout.

Tomato Art Fest

Tomato Art Fest is a annual festival attracts people from all over with fun-themed art, local music, delicious food, costumes, wacky contests, shopping, kids activities, & more.The 2025 Tomato Art Fest will take place on Friday, August 8 and Saturday, August 9 in Historic East Nashville's Five Points. The 2-day festival and concert are free to attend, welcoming to all, and costumes are encouraged. Additionally, there are a few official ticketed festival events that are optional.Located in Historic East Nashville's Five Points, The 21st annual Tomato Art Fest's 2-day celebration welcomes everyone to East Nashville August 9th and 10th, 2024 for a fun and wacky day of art, music, food, costumes, contests, shopping, kids activities, & more! The free, costume-encouraged event provides a wildly entertaining, fun-filled day for everyone. A community builder, Tomato Art Fest has steadily drawn larger crowds with each passing year. In 2022 an estimated 65,000 came to celebrate the event. The essence of Tomato Art Fest can really be found in the array of wacky & hilarious contests, and the Push, Pull & Wear Parade kicking off tomato weekend, full of floats and costumes. True to our namesake, the ART gets a big part of the tomato spotlight, where The Tomato ART Show and Tomato Art PreView Party showcases over 300 tomato-inspired pieces throughout the weekend. The local East Nashvillians behind this beloved event strive to improve the festival each year in all areas while keeping the character of Tomato Art Fest the same familiar fun that Nashville, TN has known and loved for 21 years. Music City Brewers Festival

The Music City Brewers Fest to Nashville's iconic Walk of Fame Park.
