Minutes from the Boone County Fair and Rockford, our RV campground is close to local attractions in Northern Illinois as well as plenty of activities to keep you busy.
For an adventure in the Midwest, Thousand Trails Pine Country is where you want to be. From our RV camp in Northern Illinois, you can easily head to Chicago to see the sites of the big city and Lake Michigan. Or, just walk in the woods that surround the property, sit by the campfire, and take in the natural beauty of the region.
This cottage sleeps up to 4 adults and 2 small children and has a bedroom with a queen size bed, a sleeper sofa in the living area, and a loft for small children (must bring own sleeping bags). Rental has a fully equipped kitchen and a full bath with shower. Linens and towels are provided. (34) No pets in these cottages please.
view photos14' x 37': These new deluxe cottages come with a covered screened-in porch. Each rental includes 2 bedrooms: one with a queen bed and the other with a full-size bunk bed. The large kitchen has a full-size refrigerator, stove with oven, microwave, coffee maker, toaster, and dinnerware for 6. In addition to a pull-out sofa, the living/dining room includes a table that seats 4. Full restroom facilities include a shower/tub. Linens provided. Enjoy the comfort of our new cottages in the great outdoors! (13, 18, 24) No pets in these cottages please.

We currently offer the following activities:
Mandatory two-night reservations for weekends, and 3 nights for holidays.
Single night midweek campsite reservations may be booked.
Prices and site type are subject to availability.
The rates displayed do not include any applicable service fees or charges for optional incidentals.
Daily/Weekly
Your credit card will be charged a deposit of one night rack rate. Any remaining balance is due prior to arrival.
By using a credit card for a deposit, guarantee or payment, you agree to the following: if I used a credit card for a deposit, guarantee or payment, I authorize MHC Property Management L.P. to charge any expenses incurred during my stay to that credit card or apply funds you have on deposit with MHC Property Management L.P. against what I owe.
RV campsites: We allow full refunds for cancellations up to 2 days prior to your arrival date for daily and weekly reservations.
Rental accommodations: We allow full refunds for cancellations 7 days prior to your arrival date for daily and weekly reservations.
Daily and weekly reservations: for cancellations received less than the required notice period prior to arrival, your deposit will be forfeited up to one night rack rate.
Extended stays: For long-term reservations (28 days or longer), we allow full refunds for cancellations up to 60 days prior to your arrival date. For cancellations received less than the required notice period prior to arrival, the deposit amount will be held on account for a future stay. Cancellations due to border closure will receive a full refund of current deposit.
In the case of multiple sites booked, cancellation penalties apply to each site that is cancelled or changed.
No refunds will be issued for early check-out.
