Surrounded by 360° views of the Chugach Mountains and bordered by a crystal-clear salmon-bearing creek, our Veteran-owned campground is the perfect basecamp for exploring everything Prince William Sound and Southcentral Alaska has to offer.

• Full Hookup Pull Through RV Sites: 30- & 50-amp, water and sewer, pull-throughs available, big rig friendly up to 100 feet
  
• Back-In RV Sites: spacious and private, with stunning Chugach Mountain views
  
• RV Rentals: on-site 19ft and 45ft units fully set up and ready, no rig required
  
• Deluxe Cabins: fully equipped with private bath, mini fridge, microwave, and mountain views
  
• Glamping Tents: Alaska-style glamping set amongst the pines; 4-person tent (queen bed, queen sofa bed, electric fireplace & heater, covered deck, gas fire pit) and 2-person Woody Junior (2 twin beds, electric heater, front porch)
  
• Tent Sites: spacious sites with fire rings and picnic tables, right on the creek
  

What to Do in Valdez, Alaska: Valdez KOA Journey puts you at the heart of one of the most diverse outdoor destinations in North America:

• World-Class Fishing: Solomon Gulch Fish Hatchery is just 1 mile away, offering exceptional silver and pink salmon fishing in season (July–August). The Crooked Creek salmon spawning area is also nearby at the US Forest Service Information Center. Halibut charters depart daily from the Valdez small boat harbor.
  
• Columbia Glacier Tours: One of Alaska's most accessible tidewater glaciers, just a short boat tour from Valdez. Daily tours are available from the harbor, with regular sightings of harbor seals, sea otters, and humpback whales. Helicopter tours are also available to witness the immense beauty of this tidewater glacier as it carves its way through the Chugach Mountains, with massive icebergs floating in Prince William Sound.
  
• Prince William Sound: Sea kayaking, whale watching, and sport fishing charters all depart from Valdez, the gateway to one of Alaska's most pristine marine environments.
  
• Scenic Drives & Hiking: Keystone Canyon and Worthington Glacier State Recreation Site are both within 30 minutes of the campground. The Richardson Highway itself is one of Alaska's most celebrated scenic drives.
