Our campground is situated adjacent to Laurel River Lake and the Daniel Boone National Forest. Luckily, many of those trees spill over into our campground, creating beautiful shade in spring and summer and resplendent colors in the fall. We do have a few open areas if you prefer or if you want to use a satellite. Most campers don't bother setting up a satellite because our internet is fast enough for everyone to stream TV, squeeze in a bit of work, or scroll through social media. You will feel like you are in the woods, but you are less than a mile from I-75, making us an ideal stop for just a night or two. We'd love for you to stay a bit longer so that you can enjoy our amenities. Walk Fido over to our K-9 play area and let him run off leash while you relax on the shady bench under a tree. Or let the two-legged folks stretch their legs on our playground. Throw some horseshoes or play cornhole with your friends. Head over to the Cumberland Falls State Park to see the Niagara of the South. Bring your kayak and explore the Laurel River. Cumberland Gap National Park is just an hour up the road, and from the overlook, you can see three states and stand in two. The Stearns scenic railroad is a fantastic way to view the fall colors and is only about an hour away. Or kick back and enjoy nature right here with us at the Corbin/Laurel Lake KOA.
We currently offer the following activities:
Starts: 11/08/2025 - Ends: 11/11/2025
We here at the Corbin KOA understand that Freedoms aren't free. We'd love to honor our vets by offering a 20% discount for your stay this weekend. Fly your flag from your branch of the service, wear your jackets and hats and let us thank you for your service. Make a float - even if it's nothing more than a wagon you pull, and take part in our Veteran's Day Parade. We'd like to have a bit of a square off between the different branches of service. We will ask you to combine with fellow service members to compete in a corn hole tournament to determine which branch is truly the BEST. Bring your team with you or find a friend once you arrive to be your team mate. Above all, come and be honored and have a bit of fun.
Starts: 10/31/2025 - Ends: 11/02/2025
We are of course celebrating Halloween all month long. However, if you want to celebrate the actual day with us, please do. We are going to do all the fun Halloween stuff like carve pumpkins, trick or treat, BINGO, site decorating contests etc. Plus we are going to do a frightfully fun murder mystery.
We follow the National KOA policy. Please review it. The synopsis (which does NOT take the place of the National policy) is that you can cancel a site with at least 7 days' notice or an accommodation with at least 14 days' notice, only losing a $20 cancellation fee. Within those timeframes, you will lose the entire deposit--be it one night, a full stay, etc., depending on the deposit requirements at the time you booked and for which dates you booked. Cancelations must be by phone. Email and text are not guaranteed to be received or accepted.
