Father's Day Camper Crawl

Come on out and spend Father's Day with us! We had such a blast last year that we want to Camper Crawl with you again this year. Sign up in advance! All participants must register to host either a game or a food item. Two T-shirts will be provided free of charge per participating site. Please know your T-shirt size when you call to sign up 606-528-1534. The details for fun! On Saturday afternoon around 4pm we will gather in front of the office. Have your Camper Crawl T-shirt on! We will then meander to sites and enjoy food, beverages and games. Have fun chatting with the friends and family you brought with you and mingle with a few new friends you just met on the Camper Crawl. We many not go to every camper as it might make sense to combine a game or beverage with a food item. Please be prepared to sign up for what category you will host when you call to sign up. The best part is... all crawlers get a 10% discount on their stay. Discount will be applied at time of check in.
If you don't want to participate in the Camper Crawl, never fear. We have tons of other fun things planned. There will be games for the whole family to enjoy as well as a corn hole tournament. $5 to play and winner takes all. Come adn spend Father's Day with us!

Pirate's Weekend

Arrrrg - ahoy there Matey. Join us if ye dare for a rousin' weekend of swashbucklin' fun. Bring or construct here a boat made of cardboard and compete in our first ever Cardboard Boat Regatta! Stay posted for the official rules but winner will get a free night of camping! Don yer best sea farin' outfit and prepare to walk the plank! Can ye' stay on or will ye fall into the drink and sink into Davey Jones' Locker? Go on a scavenger hunt through the park for a treasure chest of gold! Then we will hook up our boat and sail through the campground for a battle at sea with water cannons (aka squirt guns). Who will be wetter? Our land lubbers or those in our "boat?" Once the sun sets pour yourself "something tall and strong, make it a hurricane before you go insane" and join us for a little Caribbean themed dance party.

America's 250th Birthday Celebration

This 4th of July America turns 250 years old! Wooeee! We are going to celebrate! Bring out all things red white and blue! Get your gold cart, bicycles, wagons, children, dogs etc. all decked out for the 4th and participate in our parade. If you don't want to be IN the parade pull up a chair and watch the spectacle roll down "Main Street." Temporary tattoos for the kids and adults if you like. Gather up your crew for a water balloon toss and three legged race. Get those Tigger Tails ready for a potato sack race on the lawn. We will have a giant birthday cake to share while you watch our fireworks show on the lawn once the sun goes down. Bring your love for America, bring your friends and family and build community and memories with us here at the Corbin KOA.

National S'mores Celebration

Please join us for a weekend filled with all things S'mores and camping. Make your very own s'mores ornament to remember your camping adventures always. Join us at the group camp fire. Bring your best camp story, ghost story or skit and perform it for the chance to be crowned best of the best! Of course we will roast s'mores with all the fixin's provided. Show off your camp skills in our fire building contest and Corn Hole tournament.

Hear ye hear ye all the lords adn ladies of the land. Please pull your trusty steeds into the Corbin/Laurel Lake KOA and be delighted with games showcasing the knightly talents of our realm. If you so desire, you are encouraged to bring yer best finery. Princess dresses, swords and armor should be worn to compete or cheer on the jousting competitions. Ladies will be invited to make princess crowns while gentlemen will make head ware fit for a King. Design a shield and compete in a tiny catapult contest. The fun will be endless.

Weird Science

Make elephant toothpaste and make a Coke geyser! These are just a few of the cool "experiments" we will do as weird scientists! For our grown ups we will try our hand at the alchemy of soap making. Turn olive oil and water into a beautiful loaf of cold process soap. Bust out your curiosity and join us for a weekend filled with brain busters and cool science!

Please join us as we celebrate all things fall and Halloween ALL MONTH LONG! Bring your rig and decorate it for a chance to win a free night of camping. A new winner is picked each week! Then at dusk all the kiddos dressed up in their costumes will gather in front of the office for a quick picture. We will send all the little ghouls and goblins out to Trick or Treat the campground AND vote on the best decorated site. Every single weekend we will offer a hay ride out to our pumpkin patch where every registered child will get to pick a full sized pumpkin FREE. Then we will transport you back and you will get to paint or carve your pumpkin with all supplies provided. We take care of the clean up too. While a few things will be the same such as pumpkin patch and Trick or Treating all the activities from week to week will differ. We encourage you to stay and play with us!
