TX Rockabilly Bash

Texas Rockabilly Bash is a two-day rockabilly music and “kustom kulture” festival held November 6–7, 2026 at the Gillespie County Fairgrounds in Fredericksburg, featuring pre-1972 car and bike shows, vintage trailer displays, live music, pin-up pageants, vendors, RV camping, dirt drags, burnout contests, and classic hot rod culture celebrating the 1950s era. The family-friendly event combines vintage cars, rockabilly artists, vendors, and entertainment to honor Americana traditions while encouraging attendees to enjoy all that the Texas Hill Country has to offer.

Christmas Night of Lights

Fredericksburg Food & Wine Festival Weekend

Experience the flavors of the Texas Hill Country during the Fredericksburg Food & Wine Festival. The four-day celebration includes chef-driven meals, wine tastings and culinary experiences at locations throughout town. Featured events include Opening Night, the Friday Street Dinner, Saturday's Grand Tasting and Sunday Brunch. Events are ticketed separately and intended for guests age 21 and older.

Pacific Valor Battle Reenactment

Learn the story of Navajo Code Talker Chester Nez during this immersive program at the National Museum of the Pacific War. The reenactment uses restored World War II vehicles, blank-firing weapons and simulated combat effects to explore the important role Code Talkers played during the Battle of Peleliu. Stop by the Main Registration Office and pick up a spooky scavenger hunt that will have you creeping around the Resort in search of all 8 images. Once you have finished, bring it back completed for a surprise!

Pet Costume Parade & Costume Contest

Calling all pets and pet parents! We are hosting a Pet Costume Parade and Costume Contest Saturday, October 10th at 11am. For those wishing to participate who are not a resort guest, we offer day passes for $10 OR $54 for a vehicle with up to 6 people. This not only gains you access to the parade, but our resort amenities as well from 9am-8pm. We will also have a Community Halloween Party later in the day from 4-8pm. Passes must be purchased in advance of 10/10/26 either in person at 80 KOA Way or by calling 830-209-7606. Let your pet strut their stuff in the morning and stay for a full day of fun! Community Halloween Party

Join us for a spook-tacular time at the Fredericksburg KOA Resort's Community Halloween Party on October 10, 2026! The festivities technically kick off at 11am with a pet costume parade, all costumed pets are welcome to join their humans as long as they are leashed/contained. Then day pass guests have from 12-4pm to enjoy our resort amenities such as multiple heated pools, hot tubs, lazy river, playground, and pickleball courts. The main event runs from 4-8pm, kicking off with adult and child costume contests (entries from 4-4:45) followed by live music from No Boundaries starting at 5pm. Satisfy your cravings with delicious made to-order tacos and more from food vendor Nury's, and enjoy refreshing boba and matcha teas from drink vendor Good Ritual. At 6pm we will have Rubber Duck Race around the Lazy River. Guests can sponsor a duck for $5 with all proceeds beniftting KOA Care Camps. Prizes will be awarded to the first, second, and third place duck sponsors! In addition to all this fun, we will have classic carnival games, popcorn for $1 donations, a craft table and more! Day passes are only $10/person OR $54 for a vehicle with up to 6 people. This includes all day come and go entry to the resort from 9am-8pm. LIMITED NUMBER OF DAY PASSES AVAILABLE, so please stop by or give us a call to purchase your passes in advance. We cannot guarantee passes on the actual date of 10/10/26.
