The Mesa County Fair is an annual celebration of the county, its residents, community and history. The Fair creates an environment that promotes the diversity of the area and features family oriented entertainment, educational opportunities and is a showcase of local products and services. This location participates in the KOA Big Weekend event, and during this wonderful event, we provide the first showing of Family Movie Night at 6 pm with snacks and water! People from all over the country come to see this hair-raising 8 day event. This year's games are set to be May 24th-June 3rd. The drive from our KOA to the stadium is about 10 minutes. Market on Main

Everyone loves a farmers market! Our team at the Grand Junction KOA would love to extend the invitation to you and yours to attend one of the area's "summertime signature" events. Our farmers market Starts on July and will be occurring weekly on Thursdays. The Market on Main is full of wonderful experiences. It's full of farm-fresh fruits and veggies, mouth-watering homemade goodies, and the wonderful sounds of local musicians. Not only can you experience one of the area's most popular events, but you can also visit some or all of the small local businesses located on Main Street. If you are hungry, there are also a wide array of delicious restaurants and cafes.

Easter egg-tastic experience

Join us Easter weekend for a fun filled celebration!
Saturday 19th April:
Saturday will be a camper only event, campers that stay Friday night (18th) can sign up for the Easter bunny to "egg your site" for no additional charge Saturday morning. Offering your family a fun private egg hunt. To set up the "egg your site" please call the office so we can make note on your reservation. Saturday afternoon we will do paint a magnet for $5 each, featuring a new Easter magnet. Saturday night we will feature a new movie showing alongside s'more making!
Sunday 20th April:
Sunday will be a public event that campers are welcome too as well. Starting at 10 am we will be hosting a true egg-straveganza! There will be two egg hunts one for 6 year olds and under and another for 7 year olds and up. Activities that are free of charge during the event include: movie, jump pad, and playground. Activities that will be charged for: bandana tie-dye, hair tinsel, face paint, and paint a magnet. We are doing this event "carnival style" by using tickets. Each ticket purchase will be entered into a raffle for prizes announced at the end of the event. Ticket purchases are final and non-refundable.

Barrel into Spring Wine Event

Enjoy a weekend of wine tasting with participating wineries from the local area! This event happens across two separate weekends with different wineries participating each of those weekends. This event is well organized and fun to attend! Be sure to purchase your tickets prior to your arrival and be prepared to have a wonderful time. During the April event you will find wineries such as Carlson Vineyards, Whitewater Hill Vineyards, and many more. These are self guided events so be sure to bring a designated driver. The event tickets include tasting glass, an event wristband, and a passport that allows you access to food and wine pairings as well as discounts on some of the Vineyards products.
