A little while back a couple came into the store at our KOA and asked, “why should we stay at your campground over others in the area?”  It got us thinking about what sets our campground apart and what we want potential guests to know when they are considering staying with us.  So, here's a list of things we think sets our campground apart from not only others you may find in the area, but also most other campgrounds. 

• Clean – We are committed to having clean facilities.  From our cabins and bathrooms to our RV and Tent sites.  Even our port-a-potties we clean every day.  If you ever find something that needs cleaned, we want to know.
  
• Quiet – There's no highway traffic, no train traffic, no airplanes over head (well occasionally an airplane) and we're tucked back in our own little part of the forest.  As a result, it's quiet and peaceful here and that permeates the entire campground.
  
• Updated – We often tell people this is “throwback” camping like it used to be.  However, you won't see cabins and other facilities that make you think you stepped back in time 30-50 years.  Every building at our campground has been remodeled within the past 5 years.  We are constantly updating and refreshing things to enhance your experience.  Throwback is how we feel, not how our facilities look.
  
• Communication – We have a communication system on site that allows us to text you what's going on at the campground and you to reach out to us with questions or things you need. 
  
• Small size – Because we're a small park it doesn't feel busy or chaotic.  With a smaller number of guests, it also lets us focus better on our guests.
  
• Customer Service – We want you to spend your time relaxing and enjoying our beautiful park and the surrounding area.  That's why we do things like deliver ice, firewood or even pizza right to your campsite or cabin with just a text.  It lets you continue to enjoy your camping experience while we handle those smaller details.
  
• Atmosphere – One of the reasons we always suggest people stay more than 1 day at our campground is you can't get the full feel of what makes this place special in just one night.  While many people feel it when they arrive, it takes multiple days to get the full effect. 
  
• Those little Extra's.  Yes, we are located 80 miles from the nearest grocery store in the middle of the forest. BUT we have a Coffee & Pizza shop on site and a great little general store that you'll be amazed how well stocked it is with all those things you forgot or ran out of on your trip.
  
• Other Fun Things – We sprinkle in Kids activities, FREE ice cream socials and Corn Hole Tournaments throughout the season to add to the fun. 
  
• Not Just Crater Lake National Park – Of Course were close to Crater Lake NP, most of the campgrounds in the area are.  But we're way more than that.  Were close to 7 waterfall hikes. We have 10-mile hiking/biking trail around the lake and were on the shores of Lemolo Lake where you can Boat/Fish & Swim in a beautiful lake well known for it's great fishing.
