Nature trails connect to the Bruce Trail along the Niagara Escarpment, a wondrous ecosystem of forests, cliffs and wildflowers running from Niagara Falls to the Bruce Peninsula, flanked by the deep blue waters of Lake Huron and Georgian Bay. Nearby, Sauble Beach offers 7 miles of heavenly sand.
Shop, dine, golf and fish in Owen Sound, 2 miles away. Relax on a ferry ride through the Fathom Five National Marine Park islands, where glass-bottom boats pass over shipwrecks and unusual rock formations. Use the M.S. Chi-Cheemaun ferry to travel farther north. Take advantage of KOA's heated saltwater pool, game room, playing fields, picnic shelter and lots of running and biking room. Enjoy the convenience of sewer hookups on-site. Some of our staff speak Cantonese, Mandarin and Japanese.

Ways to Stay
At Owen Sound KOA Journey, we offer many ways to stay so campers can have their desired camping experience. We have you covered, whether you plan to stay in an RV, cabin or tents.
RV Camping in Owen Sound: Park your camper at one of the Pull-Thru or Back-In RV Sites for a comfortable and cozy stay. They have 50, 30, 20 or 15 amp connections. The sites also either have full hookups or water and electric hookups. Some sites also provide you with a KOA Patio® and furniture, giving you more room to spread out. If you want more privacy, stay at one of the more secluded sites on the campground.
Traditional Cabin Camping: If you have no RV, stay in one of the Camping Cabins. The lodgings offer you a traditional camping experience but with comfortable beds and electricity. There is no bathroom. When you want to spend time outside your cabin, you can take advantage of the picnic table and firepit at your campsite. Enjoy meals at the table and gather around the fire at night to chat or tell ghost stories.
Grey Bruce Peninsula Tent Camping: Sleep under the stars while surrounded by the sounds of nature when you camp at one of the Tent Sites. All sites are pet-friendly. If you want more comfort, stay at a site with water and electric hookups. For more rustic experiences, camp at a site without hookups.

One of Ontario's best trail running experiences. Flowing through Blue Mountain Resort's challenging single-track trail network each course will tackle a timed 700ft ascent of the Niagara Escarpment in addition to endless; rock hopping, creek crossing, root dodging, up & down sublime forest running
Starts: 09/13/2024 - Ends: 09/15/2024
There will be a variety of festival foods, like The Bloomin' Onion, funnel cakes, poutines, and of course to wash it all down, ice cold beer. Watch Live Music all weekend long, featuring amazing Tributes to Blue Rodeo, CCR, Tragically Hip, Bob Marley, plus a variety of local bands.
RV and Tent Sites: 48 hours cancellation notice is required. Notify the campground by 4:00pm two days before your scheduled arrival.
Camping Cabins: 7 days cancellation notice is required. Please notify the campground one week before your scheduled arrival.
Dome: 7 days cancellation notice is required. Please notify the campground one week before your scheduled arrival.
Special Policy for Holiday Long Weekend:
NO REFUND will be given on Father's Day weekend, Long weekends: Victoria Day, Canada Day, Civic Holiday and Labour Day.
Reservations that cover any day of the Long Weekends are considered as Long Weekends reservations.
Minimum Stay is 3 nights. Deposit for the first 3 nights of the reservations is required.
*Not calling to Cancel / No Show will result in forfeiture of the entire deposit, even you paid for the whole stay. Please let us know if you are not able to arrive on the scheduled arrival day.Please Email your name, reservation # to owensoundkoa@gmail.com . We will process within 2 days. KOA cancellation policy will apply.
