There is ALWAYS something fun happening at the Pigeon Forge/Gatlinburg KOA Holiday! We have activities planned for our campers every single day. You'll receive a schedule of events during check-in, which may vary slightly for holidays or special events. We offer these activities on most days:

Jeep Invasion

Starts: 08/23/2024 - Ends: 08/25/2024

There's a Jeep Invasion in Pigeon Forge! Jeeps of all makes and models will converge on the Smoky Mountain region for the annual Jeep Invasion car show. On the campground, we'll have activities and crafts focused on all things Jeep! Don't miss our crafts, tie dye souvenirs, ceramic painting, fun train rides, movie night, bingo and a duck race to raise funds for Care Camps!

Back 2 School Weekend

It's almost Back To School Season, but there's still time for one more camping adventure with your family! Join us for a camper-vs-camper water war, bingo, a movie night, tie dye, crafts, fun train rides, ceramic painting, bingo and a duck race to raise funds for Care Camps!

Halloween Weekends

Gather your goblins & ghouls for Halloween in Pigeon Forge! The Pigeon Forge/Gatlinburg KOA Holiday will transform into a creepy campground for three October weekends with ghostly Halloween activities including a decorated golf cart parade, costume contests, a pet costume contest, safe trick or treating on the campground, and a haunted carnival with games and prize giveaways! Plus, some of our campers' favorite activities including creepy-crawly crafts, a family-friendly movie night, bingo, ceramic painting, tie dye souvenirs and fun train rides through the decorated campground.

Halloween Weekends

Gather your goblins & ghouls for Halloween in Pigeon Forge! The Pigeon Forge/Gatlinburg KOA Holiday will transform into a creepy campground for three October weekends with ghostly Halloween activities including a decorated golf cart parade, costume contests, a pet costume contest, safe trick or treating on the campground, and a haunted carnival with games and prize giveaways! Care Camps Big Weekend & Mother's Day Weekend

Starts: 05/10/2024 - Ends: 05/12/2024

Help us fundraise during the annual Big Weekend for Care Camps!

Stay with us on May 10 & 11, 2024, and 50%* of the cost of the site on the second night will be donated to Care Camps! (Book Your Stay Here!)

Throughout the weekend, we'll have special events to raise funds for Care Camps, including a duck race and pancake breakfast. We'll have fun train rides, campground crafts, tie dye, ceramics painting, a movie night, karaoke, and bingo. Don't forget, it is also Mother's Day Weekend!

Your stay will make a difference in the lives of children with cancer, by helping raise funds for medically supervised Care Camps across North America. These camps give kids with cancer a chance to attend a summer camp and just be a kid again. Funds raised from the Saturday, May 11 campground donation support the KOA Care Camps Trust, which distributes more than $1 million annually to support 125+ Care Camps. Independence Day Weekend

There's no better way to celebrate Independence Day than with a long weekend of camping fun! We will have a Campground Cookout on Saturday Night, along with fun train rides, crafts for kids, tie dye souvenirs, ceramic painting, a movie night, bingo and a duck race to raise funds for Care Camps!

Annual Chili Cook-off

Think you've got a winning chili recipe? Prove it! Our annual campground chili cook-off is on Saturday, September 28. There will be prices for best chili and the best table decorations. There will also be train rides, crafts, tie dye souvenirs, ceramic painting, and a movie night.

Superheroes Weekend

Labor Day Weekend

Make the most of your extra time off with a long Labor Day Weekend in Pigeon Forge! Campers are welcome to join us for a campground cookout, a movie night, bingo, ceramic painting, tie dye souvenirs, crafts for kids, fun train rides and a rubber duck race. The campground cookout and rubber duck race will raise funds for Care Camps!

Dog Days of Summer

Celebrate your four-legged friends during this weekend of pet-friendly camping in Pigeon Forge. We'll have a pet pool party with doggie pools in our large Dog Park, pet snacks, and special meet & play times for pets. Plus, we will have fun train rides, campground crafts, ceramic painting, a movie night, bingo, tie dye souvenirs and a duck race to raise funds for Care Camps!

Pigeon Forge Rod Run & 50's Jubilee

Starts: 09/12/2024 - Ends: 09/15/2024

Pigeon Forge is turning into Coolville during our 1950s-inspired jubilee! Greasers from near & far will enjoy the classic cars and hot rods crusin' into the nearby LeConte Center for the area's largest car show, the Pigeon Forge Rod Run. On the campground, we'll be time-hopping back to the 1950s with a good ol Sock Hop party on Saturday. Be sure to dust off your best 1950s style! Plus, enjoy fun train rides, campground crafts, tie dye, ceramic painting, a movie night and bingo!

Dinosaur Weekend

What do you call a dinosaur wearing a cowboy hat and boots? Tyrannosaurus Tex! There will be plenty more dinosaur humor during our Dinosaur Weekend! Young archeologists can participate in our Dino Dig, campground crafts, and ceramic painting. We'll also have our fun train rides, tie dye, a movie night, karaoke, bingo and a duck race to raise funds for Care Camps!

Pontiacs in Pigeon Forge

Starts: 05/30/2024 - Ends: 06/01/2024

Classic GTO's, Firebirds and Fieros gather each Summer for Pontiacs in Pigeon Forge! This event features a swap meet, best in show awards, best in stock awards and a Saturday Night Cruise. All proceeds from this show will support St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. Check the Pontiacs in Pigeon Forge Facebook group for more information.

Great Smoky Mountain Bronco Stampede

Starts: 08/16/2024 - Ends: 08/17/2024

The Great Smoky Mountain Bronco Stampede is an event that is open to ALL Bronco enthusiasts and Bronco clubs throughout the nation. There will be an expo for Bronco parts and accessory vendors, and off-road-related products. During your visit, be sure to take advantage of several famous drives in our area, including the scenic Cade's Cove drive, stunning drives through Great Smoky Mountains National Park, or take a day trip to the Blue Ridge Parkway or Tail of the Dragon.The event will be held at the LeConte Center, which is approximately 1.5 miles from the Pigeon Forge/Gatlinburg KOA Holiday. Consider beating the traffic by walking or biking from the campground to the LeConte Center along the Riverwalk Greenway!

Grand National F-100 Reunion

Starts: 05/16/2024 - Ends: 05/18/2024

This annual reunion is the largest classic Ford truck show in the country! The Grand National F-100 Reunion in Pigeon Forge is a gathering of Ford trucks from 1996 and older including pre F-1, F-1, F-100, F-250 UP, F-150, F-250 and up. (No Rancheros or Broncos). The show has a family atmosphere, with an awards banquet and food vendors. Enjoy the drive from Pigeon Forge to Gatlinburg on Friday, May 17 during the Great Smoky Mountains F-100 cruise.

Great Smoky Mountain Jeep Invasion

Jeep lovers from across the nation will convene in Pigeon Forge from August 22-24, 2024! This popular event celebrates all things Jeep. Make the most of your time in the Smoky Mountains with an off-road adventure with one of the area's professional tour companies. 

Our campground will have a variety of fun activities planned during the Jeep Invasion. The event will be held at the LeConte Center, which is approximately 1.5 miles from the Pigeon Forge/Gatlinburg KOA Holiday. Consider beating the traffic by walking or biking from the campground to the LeConte Center along the Riverwalk Greenway!

Circle Yer Wagens

Starts: 05/04/2024 - Ends: 05/05/2024

Presented by the Appalachian Volkswagen Association, the Circle Yer Wagens VW show is an annual event held at the Sevier County Fairgrounds. Event highlights include a huge swap meet, top 75+ show, dash plaques to the first 150 entrants, and cash prizes.

Pigeon Forge Rod Run

Starts: 09/12/2024 - Ends: 09/14/2024

Car enthusiasts from around the nation will gather for the Pigeon Forge Rod Run! If you love classic cars and automotive history, you simply cannot miss this massive, three-day event! The Pigeon Forge Rod Run is the area's largest automotive event, which has roots dating back to the 1970s. You may be familiar with this event by other names from previous variations, including Shades of the Past and The Grand Run. The 2024 event will feature top 25 awards, ultimate 5 awards, $10,000 cash giveaway, a huge swap meet, hundreds of showcars and more! Can't join the action this Fall? Make plans to attend the Spring Rod Run in the April! 

Our campground will celebrate the Rod Run with a special weekend filled with 1950s-inspired fun, including a Sock Hop! The event will be held at the LeConte Center, which is approximately 1.5 miles from the Pigeon Forge/Gatlinburg KOA Holiday. Harvest Festival

Starts: 09/09/2024 - Ends: 10/28/2024

Enjoy the light fall breeze and changing autumn leaves in the Deluxe Cabins near the Smokies. While enjoying your nature escape, take a short drive to the Dollywood Harvest Festival hosted by Humana. The changing forest colors are the magnificent backdrop to the event. Sip on spicy drinks and savor the autumnal flavors of pumpkin and apple treats. Listen to live music and the sounds of bluegrass, Southern gospel, country and Americana tunes.Go for an exhilarating ride on Big Bear Mountain and other fan favorites. Join the pumpkin carving events and the demonstration by master craftsmen. Flower & Food Festival

Camping near the Great Smoky Mountains in spring is a great way to celebrate the changing season and experience gorgeous blossoms in all their brilliance. Staying in Pigeon Forge also gives you the opportunity to attend Dollywood's Flower & Food Festival. The fest celebrates fresh flavors, bold flowers and unique foods. Listen to live music and the joyful background sounds of springtime, witness the whimsical aerial show and enjoy the mouthwatering flavors on offer.Remember your camera! Dollywood's Smoky Mountain Christmas

With millions of twinkling lights and towering Christmas trees throughout the park, there is plenty to see in addition to the award-winning rides. Dollywood is also home to spectacular food, making it a great place to try festive flavors. Dolly Parton's Stampede is a great place for dinner and a show, especially during the holiday season. During Christmas time, the venue comes alive with the spirit of Christmas for one of the most spectacular holiday shows this side of the Smokies. KOA Olympic Games

Calling all aspiring Olympians! Compete with friends, family and fellow campers in our KOA Olympics! We will have a variety of fun games, including a three-legged race, potato sack race, shot put and a hula hoop competition. The winners will walk away with a gold, silver or bronze medal!

Pigeon Forge Patriot Festival

Starts: 07/04/2024 - Ends: 07/04/2024

You won't want to miss this incredible celebration on July 4th in Patriot Park! The evening will consist of live music, food, fun games and of course...fireworks! Bring a blanket or lawn chairs and enjoy the show! Better yet, our campers can avoid the traffic and walk right to Patriot Park which borders our campground. Or, you can catch the fireworks from many of the sites and cabins!

Holiday Weekends

We will be celebrating the holiday season with a campfire bonfire, toasting s'mores and having Hot Cocoa with Santa!  There will be decorations and holiday music around the campground (bring your own decorations for your campsite!) On Fridays at 5pm, we will be playing a classic holiday movie too!
