There is ALWAYS something fun happening at the Pigeon Forge/Gatlinburg KOA Holiday! We have activities planned for our campers every single day. You'll receive a schedule of events during check-in, which may vary slightly for holidays or special events. We offer these activities on most days:

• Fun Train Rides at 10 AM (Monday - Saturday)
• Children's Crafts at 12 PM
• Ceramics Painting at 1 PM
• Campground Crafts at 3 PM
• Tie Dye Souvenirs at 4 PM

Halloween Weekends

Starts: 10/17/2025 - Ends: 10/19/2025

Gather your goblins & ghouls for Halloween in Pigeon Forge! The Pigeon Forge/Gatlinburg KOA Holiday will transform into a creepy campground for three October weekends with ghostly Halloween activities including a decorated golf cart parade, costume contests, a pet costume contest, safe trick or treating on the campground, and a haunted carnival with games and prize giveaways! Plus, some of our campers' favorite activities including creepy-crawly crafts, a family-friendly movie night, bingo, ceramic painting, tie dye souvenirs and fun train rides through the decorated campground.

Father's Day Weekend

Starts: 06/13/2025 - Ends: 06/15/2025

Celebrate Dad with a Father's Day Weekend spent around the campfire! We'll have a special Pancake Breakfast on Saturday morning alongside some of our campers' favorite activities like ceramic painting, fun train rides, campground crafts, tie dye, a movie night, and a duck race to raise funds for Care Camps!

Wet & Wild Weekend

Starts: 06/27/2025 - Ends: 06/29/2025

As the Summer sun starts to heat up, we'll cool off with a Wet & Wild Weekend! Activities will include water games, a huge slip'n slide, a movie night, ceramic painting, tie dye, crafts for kids, train rides and a duck race to raise funds for Care Camps!

Labor Day Weekend

Starts: 08/29/2025 - Ends: 09/01/2025

Make the most of your extra time off with a long Labor Day Weekend in Pigeon Forge! Escape the summer heat and enjoy a fun family getaway with stunning mountain views. Campers are welcome to join us for a campground cookout, a movie night, bingo, ceramic painting, tie dye souvenirs, crafts for kids, fun train rides and a rubber duck race. The Pigeon Forge campground cookout and rubber duck race will raise funds for Care Camps! 

Be sure to book your Labor Day weekend reservation early for this popular camping weekend!

Independence Day Weekend

There's no better way to celebrate Independence Day than with a family vacation full of camping fun! Join us for exciting summer events, including a Campground Cookout with hot dogs on Saturday Night, along with a spectacular fireworks display, fun train rides, crafts for kids, tie dye souvenirs, ceramic painting, a movie night, and a duck race to raise funds for Care Camps! Bring your lawn chairs and celebrate 4th of July with us!

Jeep Invasion

There's a Jeep Invasion in Pigeon Forge! Jeeps of all makes and models will converge on the Great Smoky Mountains for the annual Jeep Invasion car show. On the campground, we'll have activities and crafts focused on all things Jeep! Don't miss our crafts, tie dye souvenirs, ceramic painting, fun train rides, movie night, and a duck race to raise funds for Care Camps!

Back 2 School Weekend

Annual Chili Cook-off

Starts: 11/08/2025 - Ends: 11/08/2025

Think you've got a winning chili recipe? Prove it! Our annual campground chili cook-off is on Saturday, November 8th. There will be prices for best chili and the best table decorations. There will also be train rides, crafts, tie dye souvenirs, ceramic painting, and a movie night.

We will be celebrating the holiday season with festive activities! Experience the holiday spirit with us! Santa himself will join us on Saturday for Milk & Cookies! We will also have camper favorites, including fun train rides, holiday decorations and crafts, tie dye souvenirs, ceramic painting, bingo and a movie night! This festival event is sure to bring winter magic to the family holidays.

Pigeon Forge Rod Run & 50's Jubilee

Starts: 09/12/2025 - Ends: 09/14/2025

Pigeon Forge is turning into Coolville during our 1950s-inspired jubilee! Greasers from near & far will enjoy the classic cars and hot rods crusin' into the nearby LeConte Center for the area's largest car show, the Pigeon Forge Rod Run. On the campground, we'll be time-hopping back to the 1950s with a good ol Sock Hop party on Saturday. Be sure to dust off your best 1950s style! Plus, enjoy fun train rides, campground crafts, tie dye, ceramic painting, a movie night and bingo!

Dollywood's Flower & Food Festival

Starts: 04/18/2025 - Ends: 06/08/2025

Camping near the Great Smoky Mountains in spring is a great way to celebrate the changing season and experience gorgeous blossoms in all their brilliance. Staying in Pigeon Forge also gives you the opportunity to attend Dollywood's Flower & Food Festival. The fest celebrates fresh flavors, bold flowers and unique foods. Listen to live music and the joyful background sounds of springtime, witness the whimsical aerial show and enjoy the mouthwatering flavors on offer.Remember your camera! The park is brimming with towering living plant sculptures and displays like the multicolored umbrella installation.

National Quartet Convention

Hear the finest in Southern gospel music when the National Quartet Convention returns to the LeConte Center at Pigeon Forge! This annual event is the largest event in Gospel Music, with as many as 40,000 visiting during this week-long event. Reserve your seats now for the National Quartet Convention.

Great Pumpkin LumiNights @ Dollywood

Starts: 09/12/2025 - Ends: 10/27/2025

Great Pumpkin LumiNights is one of the many events that make up Dollywood's Harvest Festival, lasting the entire length of the festival. The whole park is lit up with out-of-this-world pumpkin displays, with a 40-foot pumpkin tree towering over the park as the centerpiece. In addition to the warm glow, this fall-time event offers tons of tasty treats and autumn entertainment your family will not want to miss out on.

Pigeon Forge Winterfest

Pigeon Forge is your destination for everything winter. From twinkling street displays to plenty of festive shows and other entertainment, you will never feel bored as you soak in the wonder and magic of the winter season. The mountain peaks and swirling snowflakes make Pigeon Forge the perfect backdrop for holiday shopping. Explore the local boutiques and artisans for a one-of-a-kind gift that perfectly represents the Smoky Mountains. Winterfest happens throughout Pigeon Forge, with Pigeon Forge / Gatlinburg KOA Holiday in the middle of the action. Dollywood's Smoky Mountain Christmas

If you're searching for a one-of-a-kind holiday celebration, look no further than Dollywood's Smoky Mountain Christmas! This annual event is frequently recognized as the finest Christmas celebration in America! Lights of many colors illuminate Dollywood in vibrant hues. As you walk through the park, you'll travel through Santa's Village, Glacier Ridge, Craftsman's Valley and more. Be sure to board the Dollywood Express for an unforgettable train ride through the Smoky Mountains, passing through over 6 million twinkling lights. It wouldn't be a celebration at Dollywood without an incredible lineup of holiday performances and live music.

Dollywood's Harvest Festival

Watch the trees change colors beneath the Smoky Mountains at Dollywood's Harvest Festival. This celebration runs offers the entire family something they will love. Around this time of year, the park transforms into a fall wonderland, filled with scrumptious smells of cinnamon and apple and decked out with fall-themed decor, like jack-o-lanterns. Whether you want to ride one of the park's famous rides, explore Hoot Owl Hollow or catch one of the many musical performances, Dollywood's Harvest Festival is a must-visit attraction during the fall in Pigeon Forge.

Pigeon Forge Fall Rod Run

Starts: 09/11/2025 - Ends: 09/13/2025

Car enthusiasts from around the nation will gather for the Pigeon Forge Rod Run! If you love classic cars and automotive history, you simply cannot miss this massive, three-day event! The Pigeon Forge Rod Run is the area's largest automotive event, which has roots dating back to the 1970s. You may be familiar with this event by other names from previous variations, including Shades of the Past and The Grand Run. The 2024 event will feature top 25 awards, ultimate 5 awards, $10,000 cash giveaway, a huge swap meet, hundreds of showcars and more! Can't join the action this Fall? Make plans to attend the Spring Rod Run in the April! 

Our campground will celebrate the Rod Run with a special weekend filled with 1950s-inspired fun, including a Sock Hop! The event will be held at the LeConte Center, which is approximately 1.5 miles from the Pigeon Forge/Gatlinburg KOA Holiday. Consider beating the traffic by walking or biking from the campground to the LeConte Center along the Riverwalk Greenway! Dollywood's Smoky Mountain Summer Celebration

As you are planning your summer holiday near the Smokies? Be sure to put Dollywood's Smoky Mountain Summer Celebration as one of the top attractions to enjoy during your trip. The summer celebration offers bursts of color, family-favorite shows like the Gazillion Bubble Show and many whimsical ways to play. Sit in the rocking chairs and take in the magnificent technicolor canopies and kites.The fun does not stop after the sun sets. Take an exhilarating ride on Big Bear Mountain. Watch hundreds of drones synchronize across the night sky and the famous summer fireworks show. Pontiacs in Pigeon Forge Car Show

Starts: 06/06/2025 - Ends: 06/07/2025

Classic GTO's, Firebirds and Fieros gather each Summer for Pontiacs in Pigeon Forge! This event features a swap meet, best in show awards, best in stock awards and a Saturday Night Cruise. All proceeds from this show will support St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. Check the Pontiacs in Pigeon Forge Facebook group for more information.

Pigeon Forge Patriot Festival

You won't want to miss this incredible celebration on July 4th in Patriot Park! The evening will consist of live music, food, fun games and of course...fireworks! Bring a blanket or lawn chairs and enjoy the show! Better yet, our campers can avoid the traffic and walk right to Patriot Park which borders our campground. Or, you can catch the fireworks from many of the sites and cabins!

Great Smoky Mountain Bronco Stampede

Starts: 08/15/2025 - Ends: 08/16/2025

The Great Smoky Mountain Bronco Stampede is an event that is open to ALL Bronco enthusiasts and Bronco clubs throughout the nation. There will be an expo for Bronco parts and accessory vendors, and off-road-related products. During your visit, be sure to take advantage of several famous drives in our area, including the scenic Cade's Cove drive, stunning drives through Great Smoky Mountains National Park, or take a day trip to the Blue Ridge Parkway or Tail of the Dragon.The event will be held at the LeConte Center, which is approximately 1.5 miles from the Pigeon Forge/Gatlinburg KOA Holiday.
