Welcome to Salt Lake City KOA! Located at just 14 blocks from downtown, we are the closest campground to Salt Lake City. Our shady, spacious campsites provide a perfect base camp to explore local attractions. The city's light rail system makes it easy to visit downtown attractions like seeing Temple Square, tracing your family tree at the world's largest genealogy library, or shopping at City Creek Mall. 

Experience floating in the Great Salt Lake or see the world's largest open pit mine. Visit Park City and other mountain resorts for 2002 Olympic venues, with year-round activities. Entertain the kids at the Aquarium, Hogle Zoo, or Lagoon amusement park.

Salt Lake City camping downtown provides an endless list of activities. Our friendly, knowledgeable staff will assist in making your vacation memorable. At the end of the day, relax poolside or roast marshmallows around our group fire pits.

The Salt Lake City Region has many opportunities for outings and attractions. However, if you need time to rest, Salt Lake City KOA Holiday has many recreational opportunities at the campground. Campers can also give back while they enjoy their vacation with KOA Care Camp Donation activities such as movies, pancake breakfasts and barbecue lunches and dinner. All the money raised during these fun events will go to KOA's Kids Care Camp Charity to help send kids with cancer to camps across the United States. If you are looking for general supplies, food, a gift for a friend or a souvenir, you can also stop by the Camp Store. Grab a few necessities or browse our souvenirs to help you remember your trip through Salt lake City and the beautiful Northern Utah mountains.

Policies

Cancellation Policy: If you need to cancel your reservation, please call the campground before the deadlines below to receive a refund of your deposit, less a $20 administrative cancellation fee.

Text and email notifications of cancellations will not be accepted. 

Cancellation Deadlines:

•RV & Tent Sites: You must give 7 days cancellation notice. Call the KOA you made your reservation with by 4 p.m., seven days before your scheduled arrival.

•Lodging & Accommodations: You must give 14 days cancellation notice. Call the KOA you made your reservation with by 4 p.m., fourteen days before your scheduled arrival. 

Cancellation Details:

•Reservations made after these deadlines require nonrefundable deposits.

•Cancellations made after the deadlines will result in forfeiture of the full deposit.

•No refunds are given due to the discomforts of nature, including no-shows and early checkouts.

•No refunds are given on or after the arrival date.

•Refunds will be processed using the original credit/debit card, with no exceptions.

•The cancellation policy may be amended during a Regional/National travel disruption.

•Holidays and special events may have unique deposit and/or cancellation requirements.

Please check with your selected KOA for Holiday or group cancelation policy.

Group Cancellations and high occupancy periods: may have stricter policies. Check with manager.

Group Cancellation Policy: Groups over 10 RV's will need to cancel prior to 30 days of arrival for a full refund - $20.00 cancelation fee per site. High occupancy events may have a different cancelation policy to check with management.

Select My Site: Upon choosing a preferred site, you are acknowledging your commitment to pay a daily fee of $20.00 to secure a selected site for your reservation at Salt Lake KOA Holiday. 

The campground reserves the right to modify the assigned site according to availability and will reimburse the fee in case of such alterations. 

The Select My Site fee is applied as a per day charge, necessitating an additional daily fee to confirm the reservation of your preferred site.
