July 4 Stars & Stripes Celebration

One of the best family events of the year, the Stars & Stripes Celebration event at Virginia Beach oceanfront attracts thousands of visitors each year and it's easy to see why. This spectacular event has great live music performed across multiple oceanfront stages. Look out for the crowd's patriotic and classical favorites performed by the Virginia Beach Symphony Orchestra and the Virginia Beach Chorale. Performances are FREE and everyone is welcome.

The Neptune Festival

Join us as we celebrate the beach life! 2025 marks the 51st anniversary for the Virginia Beach Neptune Festival!

Every year, hundreds of thousands of people celebrate at the festival's many offerings that fill 30+ blocks of the boardwalk. Daily concerts at 2 festival stages feature 20+ performances from local and national bands and DJs.

On the boardwalk, you can find more than 200 artisans displaying handmade work at an Art & Craft Show. Keep walking to find 22 magnificent sand sculptures created by world-renowned international sculptors at Neptune's International Sandsculpting Championship. Other weekend events include Neptune's 8k Race, Grand Parade, Dock Dogs, Touch-a-Truck, Poseidon's Playground, Volleyball Tournament, Surfing Classic, Atlantic Regatta, Youth Art Show, and more! Care Camps Big Weekend

Starts: 05/09/2025 - Ends: 05/11/2025

When: May 9 – 10, 2025

What: Stay at a participating KOA campground on May 9 & 10, 2025, and 50%* of the cost of the site on the second night will be donated to Care Camps!

Why: Your stay will make a difference in the lives of children with cancer, by helping raise funds for medically supervised pediatric oncology camps. These camps help children who have cancer enjoy care-free time focusing on fun, friends, and activities instead of on their illness. Funds raised from Saturday, May 10, will be donated to the Care Camps Foundation, which distributes $2 million annually to support 100+ pediatric oncology camps across the U.S. and Canada.
